Lowe's Home Improvement

My favorite home improvement store in KW . I go here a couple time a month to get something for the house and they always have what I need. The store is so bright and clean. I always found home depots to be dark and dreary.

A big U.S. company has gobbled up Lowe's and changed the name to Rona. This has made it very difficult for the staff to access information. It was very easy with Lowe's computer system, but not so with Rona. They won't be carrying all the same products.

I go to Lowes out of convenience of being close to where I live but most prices are more expensive than home Depot I find.

I've always liked blue over orange. That said it seems lately some of Lowe's policies have been troublesome. I couldn't return an item without receipt even though I had done this countless times before with the card that purchased originally regardless the time passed since the job. This change happened almost over night so I'm much more vigilant with e-receipts now - which are hard to organize because the attachment isn't indexed and therefore not searchable. When I inquired I was met with borderline hostility. So that was a turn off.Also, I didn't have an online (not Amazon) price match honoured wherein I'd had the same price match in the past. So, some decisions seem on a whim recently. I realized despite my preference I've been biased against Lowe's lately and have been sourcing elsewhere more.

Tons of products here and really nice store. Unfortunately once we got a mirror here that we had to return because it turned out it was broken inside the packaging (oh no, bad luck) but they happily exchanged it for us. Lots of patio furniture and vacuums. Well organized store.

4 stars because they never update their inventory. It would show online and in store that products are available in inventory, but in actual they are not. Ordered LED mirrors online to pick up at this location as it showed they are available at this store and after a week and half wait time they tell you that they are discontinued and they don’t have them.

They change your delivery date without any notification at all. I spent the whole day at home because I was expecting delivery of an expensive gazebo. I called at night and they tell me the delivery date got changed to tomorrow. Shouldn't you at least send a text or call the customer to let them know? Very disappointed.

Lowe's is a great home improvement store with a vast selection of products, from appliances to lumber. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, providing helpful advice and recommendations. Prices are competitive and there are frequent sales and discounts. Overall, a reliable and convenient option for all your home improvement needs.

I went in to find a two prong light bulb for my bedroom, which most stores I have found don’t carry but I knew Lowe’s would have it. They have a huge selection of light bulbs. I have posted a picture of some beautiful hanging lights in their Lighting Department. Which hanging light is your favourite? I can’t decide on which one to buy.
