This place is such a great addition to the neighborhood. While they were building the bar, they had an adorable sign about the vibe they’re looking to create and I can confirm they definitely nailed it.We went last night and were greeted with “Hi Norm!”. The layout is definitely cozy (so not a great fit if you feel easily crowded) but it’s very conducive to making new connections with the other patrons. Basically after 10 minutes we were all in conversation together - thanks in no small part to the owner who has a natural gift of making you feel like you’ve been friends for ages - and it became a shared experience that felt safe and fun and not something you’d get from anywhere else! There’s also a small table and ledges if you’d rather have some solo time or chat with someone you came with. But even as someone who does not stranger well, I highly recommend at least introducing yourself to the people next to you - my friend met a fellow neighborhood dog parent and some other islanders, and I met someone who’s kid will be in school with mine soon (and you know possible parent friends you find in a bar will be cool ones).The drinks were beautiful and crafted with so much creativity and care. They’re not cheap, but as someone who lives very close, I’d much rather have somewhere to stop for a drink or two than a place where you can get plastered for $20.The whole mini-complex (bar, cafe, gallery) has been a great addition to an already great neighborhood!

Amazinggggg! Such a unique venue and atmosphere. Went for drinks for a 50th birthday. First visit and definitely going to visit again. Make reservations on IG. Loved this place!!!

Super cool place! You get your own cocktail experience being in such a small space and the drinks are more expensive because of the unique experience. The menu is limited and are mostly strong drinks not for everyone's palette such as an old fashioned, negroni etc. I would love to see some more options in the future like a margarita, French 75, or speciality cocktails that are bit lighter. Took my mom for Mother's Day and she loved it.

Although they have no food, I rated it a five and everything across the board. This place is amazing. I’ve told all my friends and family about your place Doug. My friends and I had an amazing time. Over the top - great place for meeting new people and just hanging out - by reservation of course.What an amazing difference from the drab, dirty yellowish paint before to the eclectic inviting black making the entire building inviting and current.Older crowd which I like (because I’m old) and such a cool interior design. Thanks again Doug for the best time I’ve had in awhile. Cheers!

Love this spot! Smallest bar in Canada! Super cool atmosphere and decor, great drinks and awesome owner. A true reflection of our amazing community in Guelph. Thank you Doug for your hospitality!

We had so much fun watching and learning about mixology from proprietor Doug - and the drinks are amazing! The atmosphere is fun and we are excited by his plans for an expanded menu. This gem of an establishment nestled within the ward underlines Guelph’s reputation of having a rich culinary and artistic community.
