Accurate Stairs and Railings

We needed our stairs recapped and a new railing installed. The work performed was very professional and of a high level of workmanship. The stairs installation team, Frank and Skyler, were highly skilled and had a keen eye for details. The quality of the work is beyond reproach and what was promised was delivered, and more. The railing installation was performed by Kyle and his work was also outstanding and very precise. The final product is absolutely amazing and beyond our highest expectations. We recently had our old curved staircase replaced with a new modern open stair as part of a major renovation. Accurate Stairs and Railings visited the work site multiple times to ensure that everything would fit perfectly. The workmanship on the stairs is excellent. Accurate Stairs was able to custom match our new hardwood floors. Frank was in to do final touch ups and did a fabulous job. We are very happy and would definitely recommend Accurate Stairs.

Covid did delay the install as it was supposed to have been started in April but was bumped to September.Excellent work and maintain a clean work area.

We had our staircase recapped with new oak treads in August 2021. We are just delighted at the end result and very pleased at the way in which the work was conducted. We worked with the team from Accurate Stairs to discuss the project and to make appropriate design choices - their good advice saved us from making choices we might have regretted. They were very flexible in expanding the scope of the project to include our wish to include flooring and baseboards in the upstairs hall to match the new stairs. Once the work started, it was done efficiently and well and the team ensured that we had appropriate access to the house during the course of the work. The craftsmanship and pride in their work was very evident throughout. They took good care to keep the place clean and to prevent the inevitable dust from spreading around the house as much as possible. They cleaned up at the end of every day. The team at Accurate Stairs was available as we needed them and a pleasure to deal with. Our new stairs are just great and we are very happy with our experience of working with Accurate Stairs.

A small family business with horrible customer service. We waited a month to get an appointment with Alexandra Randell only to be given basic general information that could have been provided on their website or by phone. We were then promised a precise and customized estimate based on the measurements and photos we provided. Over a month later, I am still waiting for an estimate despite numerous follow-ups. None of our questions have been answered with certainty and the unresponsiveness to this extent cannot be due to COVID. I do NOT recommend them if you're looking for efficient and customized service from a company that appreciates your business.

As a returning customer who has spent several thousands of dollars in a past job, I was turn down for another job request due to their full work schedule for 2022...I get that. But what insults me is that they didn't even reply (twice) to my request to be placed on a waiting list for the next work year. Unprofessional!

Accurate built and installed a beautiful hand rail to our existing main stairs that updated the whole look. They spent the time to properly stain match the colour with our floors and even fixed a few old issues we were having. Overall we are very pleased and would highly recommend for stairs and rail in the Ottawa area.

We hired Accurate Stairs to build and install stairs for our new home. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is shopping around. They did a beautiful job. Every single one of their employees who came to our home was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. They are perfectionists who take their time to ensure quality results!!

While we were originally set to have this done back in May, COVID of course did delay the install and some communications. That said, the work is well worth the wait and the service was very accommodating. The work was done professionally, clean-up at the end of each day was thorough, and the work actually progressed much faster than we expected (took about 5 days, but each saw a huge difference). We couldn't be happier with the improvement this has made; it's really modernized the home.
