I knew Tanicia was the right Doula for me from our first meeting. She was professional, organized, patient, and also warm; she felt like a friend from the start. She also connected with my family well and they all love her. I had one of the most incredible experiences of my life in the Mother Ceremony she facilitated for me. It was beautiful, sacred, spiritual and she put a lot into making it feel personal for me even though the majority of my guests were on zoom (pandemic). Overall, I have nothing but praises to sing with her services.

The day we got our firstborn home, my husband and I were completely lost and at the peak of our stress levels. We had very little support as our families are halfway across the world and the ongoing lockdown made it more difficult. That's when someone recommended Tanicia. From the first email to Tanicia to deciding the time for her first visit - it all took less than half a day. She was very responsive, empathetic to our situation and flexible to make some time for us on super short notice. Her calming presence and energy in our house, even for a few hours a week helped us to slowly ease into taking care of our little one. Her way of introducing us to infant care - feeding, soothing, etc. made us feel comfortable and gave a boost to our confidence to be able to navigate this on our own. I'm glad she was around for a good start!I wish there was a way to get a piece of Tanicia's energy to bounce around with the little one.

I could not have imagined going through this pregnancy without the help and guidance of Tanicia. Though we are in a pandemic, she made an effort to support me . I would definitely recommend her services to any expecting mom ❤️

I don’t know what we would have done without Tanicia - my wife's delivery was super fast and it ended in an emergency situation. Instead of feeling scared when the doctors rushed in, my wife had Tanicia by her side locking eyes with her and telling her that she “had this”. Leading up to that she also kept my wife relaxed by keeping her engaged in great conversation. She’s the kind of person you just want to hug and have by your side in tough moments. We had The Doula Experience for our first baby during the post partum period. Tanicia showed us genuine care and concern for our baby and for our own well being. She is quite experienced and knowledgeable in many aspects of taking care of babies and it was helpful to learn from her. She taught us how to effectively hold and handle our newborn, and what to anticipate with feeding, burping, bathing, etc. The best part is she supported us in whatever way we needed and would be ready to work with us and our baby based on what was required that day. We would highly recommend the Doula Experience to anyone who is going through the post partum period and other aspects of pregnancy and delivery.
