10 out of 10 for the knefeh ,coffee and the staff's hospitality.I felt like I'm in Lebanon again.I am also satisfied with the ready food I got such as kebbe, vine leaves,ouzi..etc. A bit pricey but worth every penny.

From the moment I walked in to Mahrouse I was greeted by the Suzie.Nothing beats the verity at pâtisserie Mahrouse. Literally everything's fresh and appetizing. They have the best Arabic coffee( coffee cardamon). You see the middle eastern hospitality at the very first moment you get in there.I was served by two others lady with hijab, my bad, I didn't asked for their names, they were super nice and helpful.Thank you!

Great decor, friendly staff, tasty pastries.Tried the Eclairs, Mahroussa, Petit Fours, and Halawat Jibin. They were all delicious.Eclairs are nicely filled.Petit Fours are nice and light (my favourite).Halawat Jibin is creamy.Mahroussa is very tasty.Biggest surprise were the prices. They’re higher than similar Arabic pastry shops.I’d definitely recommend them if you’re in the area.

4.5* Very clean, well-maintained and welcoming Middle Eastern bakery selling a variety of treats! We tried almost everything that was displayed and were not disappointed. The pastries were not extremely sweet (which was great) and they felt fresh (not too dry, moist, crunchy, flaky, …).ONLY NEGATIVE COMMENT: There were no labels so we had no idea what we were ordering - it would have been nice to see the product names (and look their prices on the electronic menus). We also asked one of the ladies working there for some guidance and we didn’t get much help from her :/ (she could not tell us what the items were nor the ingredients (e.g. this one has walnuts, this one is with cashews, etc.))

Quality place. Really good for occasions and for gifts and to also treat yourself. You can also order in and have a coffee with some delicious treats. They also sell cutlery, I got that as a gift for a friend

A really amazing service and the best sweets I had in Canada. I live in Vancouver. Unfortunately, there is no good Arab sweet shops in here. I am from Lebanon originally and have lots of Arab friends in Vancouver and we all long for a nice Sweet Patisserie like the ones back home. One of my friends told me about Mahrouse and how tasty the sweets were when he visited Montreal earlier this summer. I thought of trying and see if I can order to Vancouver. When I contacted them I was in touch with Paola. And man what a pleasant person she was. There is good service then great service and then there is Paola. The best it can get in customer service. In One day I got Baklava and Karabeej delivered from Montreal to Vancouver. 1 kg baklava almost gone in one day. That is how good the sweets are. One more thing I wanted to add is the generosity of Mahrouse. I was in between ordering Karabeej or Maamoul and ended up going for Karabeej. In my order I saw that they included Maamoul as a gift for me to try. That says something about the business. I will be telling all my friends and family about this place. I hope they open a location in Vancouver. That will be a real treat.

Authentic Syrian sweets, a must try in Montreal. Walid helped us and gave us samples of all their great sweets to try. Great taste, amazing experience; brought back Damascene memories. Coming back for sure!!
