First of all, the car had a rust spot on the truck after less then a year and a half after purchase. Brand new lease.Second, the car had a recall for a handbrake cable problem that could get stuck. Mine did, burnt thru my read pads. This is my second lease, this is CLEARLY their responsibility, and yet they refuse to do the work, saying it could be abuse. That was my last Mazda. Banned for life.

Jamais.

Lease return charges for which Mazda Canada cannot explain their rationale. Will never buy another Mazda again.Panels repainted after accident by Insurance approved body shop which has excellent reputation which does not meed Mazda Canada's requirement. When asked to detail requirement or to provide proof, no response.

Even this review won’t change anything, Mazda already refused to do anything in my case, because I might have broken the car myself, and most of them are negativ and I don’t see Mazda responding.Today, February 26, 2020 I contacted Mazda Canada to point a problem with my 2017 Mazda CX-9 that appeared almost from day one. The car doesn’t drive always straight in winter. It’s NOT a continuous problem. It appears from time time when the car is cold. Went to Mazda ALBI in Laval last year, but they told me they are not aware of this problem. Last year it didn’t do it often and ALBI was far to drive just to show them. This year it did this problem more often and finally it did it while I was closed to a Mazda dealership. So I went there, they test drove it and saw the problem. The first thing they want to do is an alignment, what, surprise, surprise, it’s not covered by the warranty. While my garage connects the car first to the Diagnose reader. I am not happy, because some months before my remote starter didn’t work and even this time, I had to pay out of pocket, because it was installed at an other dealer. So, conclusion of this is, that Mazda warranty doesn’t cover nothing in my case. On top of that I bought the extended warranty, which probably is useless as well. Mazda Canada can’t do anything for me to solve the problem. Unfortunately, this will be than my last Mazda I bought after 10 years. My advise is: Stay away from at least CX-9, because the other known problems are there too, like infotainment, assistants doesn’t work always etc.

Was considering buying a car there. I visited the showroom and was greeted by someone from head office saying today is my lucky day and he'll make a deal I can't refuse. Anyways, they were more expensive than another Mazda deal but no matter, I bought from Honda.
