This Medical Centre is more than awesome .Dr.Navid Pooyan is not just a doctor,he is a life saver,he is more than professional,he is super smart and recognizes the reason of your illness completely and correctly.staff are polite and nice and the pharmacy inside has very nice staff and helpful.I love this clinic and I recommend it 100%.

They don’t even bother to put up a note on the website mentioning the online booking is only limited to patients with family doctor. You start filling up the forms on the website and then suddenly get to a dead-end!Then you start calling the clinic!! You should be extremely lucky to have someone pickup the phone and talk to you!

I'd been doing walk ins at this place for nearly 2 years now. Originally I'd gone in for antidepressants and the doctor not only blatantly ignored my suggestion for a medication that had worked well for me in the past , but put me on one that proceeded to take a heavy toll on my liver through the next year and caused a whole bunch of other issues. This antidepressant was volatile and ended up hospitalising me. I'd also been trying to get help for my painful periods which was put on the back burner for 6 months while the referral went through." Only when I called the receptionist screaming in agony after a particularly bad episode did my referral actually get sent to a specialist who diagnosed me with endometriosis and started me on treatment. After that diagnosis they've been no help and even have gone as far as not letting certain patients book in their online system. Half their doctors left and for good reason I guess. Im very disappointed as i put up with a lot from this clinic just to recieve care as not a lot of places in b.c. take patients in any capacity anymore. I tried to see the positive in this clinic for years and be understanding because I know at the end of the day the medical system is failing both of us but this has to be a joke; somethings gotta give. I'm now at a point where one of my meds for my endometriosis treatment isn't working and I'm stuck with no one to turn to for treatment because they won't let me book and my specialist won't let me contact them without a referral. So we're back at square one and I have to start all over again.Even if they call me tomorrow with a full day's worth of appointments

Love this Clinic! Doctor Pooyan is very knowledgeable, reliable and punctual. Awesome helpful staff (Hanna is the best). Very convenient to have great pharmacists right there....one stop shop!

This place is now a full-time walk in clinic. I arrived at 7:40am for the 8am openinb on Saturday and was the 4th person in line. By 8am, there was over 15 people in line. The receptionists were quick and gave everyone a 10min time slot. I was seen at 8:25, there is a pharmacy in the same space so I got my prescription right away, and was done by 8:45. The best walk-in experience I have ever had.

Very respectful and friendly staff, but they don't have many doctors. I was looking for a walk in but they were booked. Hana was very helpful and booked me for the next day that they had a cancellation. Dr. Pouyan was very efficient and precise and we got to ask our questions and get good recommendations.

I had an excellent experience with this clinic, a few months ago. My G.P. is semi-retired, so if I need to see a doctor urgently, he's not an option, and I have to make use of clinics such as this one. I was happy to have found a clinic with such a good, caring, professional doctor (Dr. Modir, who is fantastic), close to home. The reception staff aren't particularly well-organized, and initially missed me, altogether, but I felt Dr. Modir was so amazing that she made up for it.Today, however, I tried to make an appointment for my young son, who appears to have developed bronchitis, but could not make an in-person appointment for him, as patients with any sort of cough or other cold or flu symptoms may only make phone appointments. I'd managed to get in to see my own G.P., after being ill, three weeks, and he'd prescribed an inhaler and antibiotics because I have bacterial bronchitis. He knew this because he checked my throat, sinuses, ears, and lungs, as doctors are trained to do. Now, how do the doctors at this clinic intend to do make a proper examination of their patients, over the phone? It's impossible. It's ludicrous. Yes, some sick people are going to be contagious. But when you decide to enter a medical field, you're choosing to deal with sick people. That's your job, and no one forced you into it, so you need to mask up and do it - especially when you're a public employee, and your colleagues are going to be forced to pick up your slack.

A brand new clean tidy walk in clinic in neighborhood. Lots of parking and friendly staff. Facility is welcoming and has pharmacy inside which makes it convinced.The doctor was caring and listening to your concerns and not enforcing his opinion. Nice kept room and reasonable waiting time.Nowadays it's hard to find in person visit.

Really nice, modern location. Dr. Pooyan is a very professional, friendly and attentive doctor. He always makes time for me when I come and see him. Ella, the pharmist is so very professional, friendly and helpful. She is always so attentive. Call and order your refills in advance is an option too. The washrooms are clean and wheelchair accessible. Lots of parking available.You can also book doctor appointments on line as well, through their website.

Nova Care Clinic has THE WORST customer service in Coquitlam, the receptionists are extremely rude, and do not provide necessary information to patients. I made an appointment I couldn't attend due to illness, I tried calling several times and no one answered, and when a girl answered she hung up on me without even letting me explain the reason for my call or giving me any kind of information, I went personally and they did not provide me with the necessary care and said that it was my fault for not attending the appointment (which I tried to reschedule several times over the phone without success because they did not answer the phone). This has by far been the worst experience I've had with a medical clinic here in Coquitlam!!!I do not believe the government subsidizes this type of totally unprofessional and disrespectful treatment.
