Hughes Car Wash

Went here to bath our dog. To start off my dog slipped on the slippery floor when we first entered. Hell, I just about landed on my head as well. Be very careful of the slippery floor. It is nasty when it's wet. You have to spend a minimum of $10 for 10 tokens cus the machine won't even turn on unless you do. You can add extra tokens ONLY if machine hasn't counted down to zero. If that happens you have to spend a minimum of $10 again to get machine going. You can get more tokens when you buy the initial 10 for $10 but tokens are not refundable so if you have any left over they are useless to you and worth nothing. The wand has different settings which you turn the end of the wand to different spray settings. We wasted precious time cus most of the settings on the wand barely worked at all. I'm not a big fan of the conditioner. It smelled ok at first, but later after our dog was dry at home it started smelling like body odor.....and still does. We got down to like 1 minute left and we were still blow drying our dog and there was no way I was gonna get more tokens in time to extend it and I wasn't about to spend another $10 just to get the machine on, so I had a wet dog in my truck and once we got home. I don't find the price worth what you get. At a buck a minute it's steep. I won't take my dog here again.

Nice 12 bay wandwash carwash . Seems pretty well maintained, and all the wash,dry, and vacuum hoses worked well . As a bonus, there is a self-serve dogwash here as well. There are a small amount of snacks and most if your carwash supplies.

Got the truck all cleaned up. Reasonable priced. Their signage inside could be better for costs and how to use the wash.

This car wash has gone downhill fast. There is always something not working at this car wash. This time there was no soap, the time before that no hot water, bay doors broken, undercarriage wash is hit or miss if it is working. They may put up a sign that says one feature is down, however you put your money in and find out that it is just not that feature but basic soap. So you just end up spending a bunch of money on a rinse. When talking to the staff, they blame the services being down on their supervisor, but don’t offer any solution, reimbursement, let alone an apology. Staff are rude. Take your money to another car wash.

Been using Hughes for 20 plus years. I have my favorite locations and love supporting local.St.Albert Trail and Yellowhead Trail has lowest fuel price in the City more times than not.

What makes this location a four-star location is the simple fact that the attendant on Saturdays is incredible. He's always willing to help he makes sure the bays are clean neat and tidy the curtains are tight and any minor repairs that need to happen that the maintenance crew can't get to he is there to help out. One of the most friendly individuals, are retired man who knows the value of good work and excellent service.

This a great car wash!! Everything is clean and works as it should. Lots of wash bays AND I love the ability to select the wash time and pay by tapping with debit or a credit card. This is the only place my truck gets clean!!

Reasonably priced and decent quality compared to places in the city, including other Hughes! Was able to do a quick wash of a truck for $7 while I’d expect to pay $12 in Edmonton.
