Fantastic store featuring rare freshwater fish species from around the world, specializing the south american species. Top quality at affordable price, it is truly fascinating and dangerously tempting for hobbyists to empty the wallet. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful, spending time to discuss with and offering advice to customers.

Probably the best fresh water fish shop in Montreal, many rare varieties fish available in store as well as some rare plants. Owner definitely know what he’s doing, super kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Overall highly recommend to visit, you won’t regret trust me.

I order the newly discovery pencil fish. Super cenapa pencilfish. Excellent quality and well package/receive outside of quebec. I would highly recommend them outside of quebec

Awesome prices, amazing service and such a gorgeous store to visit. Definitely check it out if your looking for cool fish you dont see around montreal often, and youll find better prices here for almost everything compared to anywhere else + they are healthy which is a bonus! Selection was huge and if he doesnt have what your looking for he will make a great effort to try and find it. If i could rate more then 5 stars I would

Ordered fish via Facebook Messanger. After some discussion I placed my order to be shipped to Regina, Sk. From Montreal, Quebec. They looked into different shipping options and found what worked best for me. Fish arrived the next day in good health and packaged very well. Fish were also ones I have never seen anywhere else. Amazing..

Had an amazing experience at La maison du poisson yesterday. Beautiful fish and set up. The owner, Aladin was so knowledgeable with South American cichlids and also very kind and patient. This will be my #1 spot for fish from now on.

What a discoveryLike many of us fish addicts, I was surfing the web looking for new fish to restock a 90 gallon aquarium. I was looking for a nice shop, able to deliver anywhere in Quebec, and a shop that cares not only about its customers but also about the fish and plants it sells. Well I guess I got lucky, located in Montreal, this amazing shop La Maison du Poisson" does it all
