Dunlevy Food Equipment

Scam artists sold me something they claimed was a complete unit and worked great. I travel from Vancouver Island on their guarantee and spend $200 on ferry rides and then I get the equipment home and it is missing pieces that make it actually usable.When brought up they tried to claim I was lying even though I sent them ample proof. Then tried to say it just doesn't meet my standards which is why I'm returning itLike no, I wanted this equipment badly and I'd love to use it if it was actually complete!!Do not use these guys

Always good customer service, if not there, they will order for you.

Just the handiest place in Vancouver for equipment and restaurant items. Biggest negative is that they are horrible at managing inventory on the shelves are often they are barren or a last item and we always get the phrase We just ordered that item and it will be in in 2-3 weeks." and even then it doesn't appear. They must loose a lot of business from customers going elsewhere. If they can get this fixed it will be my best go too."

I wouldn't risk it. chronically low/out of stock, missed orders, things never turning out as they say, uncaring feeling customer experience, and in my experience, only one or two people in the whole team ever actually know anything about an order or product anyway. Have wasted so much time and money here, and had an extra bad experience when I was recovering from a surgery and just needed a simple item. Polite requests to be addressed by anyone in any position of authority went ignored, so they were willing to lose me as a customer over their own errors without apology or anything. They did motivate me to get better more reliable suppliers so I thank them for that but to this day, still a bad taste in my mouth. :( If you have to shop here, bring your patience and be ready for a circus.

My new kitchen supplies store, I like the same equipment in my house as my work. All the goods are industrial quality and the selection is great, especially for Cambros and cooking stuff

Customer service???Duane the sales guy is incapable of fully reading emails from clients. I sent him properly structured emails regarding new and used items and he would focus on only the FIRST sentence from the email and completely disregard everything else. It seems everyone at Dunlevy reads emails in this manor as the manager couldn’t read in my other emails that I had requested to pay my deposit several times. My items I had on hold were sold and there was nothing the company would do to compensate that would justify the wrong that has taken place.Will not be returning.

Dunlevy has been great for us over the years. Special orders as well as day to day items. Thanks for all the shaker sets, and helping us out to the car!
