I had a very positive experience with MJM. The assessment done by Brett was a great interaction, I thought he did very well explaining to me what they would do for the job and I appreciated his attention to detail. He spoke without dumbing anything down for me and then took time to explain anything I didn't fully understand, I appreciated it. The 2 men that came to do the insulation work were nice people, the few hours they took to perform the work went by smoothly. They gave me the chance to look at what was done and reviewed it with me when they were finished, which I appreciated. I only sought two quotes for insulation for this job and MJM was by far the better price in this case. Overall, I'd recommend them from my experience.

We had MJM to do some foam insulating— in our cellar—our house is very old and hard to access all areas. Everington and Mike did an awesome job — we are so pleased with their work— professional, friendly and very efficient. Will have them back to finish the job once our winters wood is out of the cellar. Thanks so much.

Loved MJMs prompt service. I reached out to them via Facebook after a friend had used their service. They replied quickly, had someone out to quote the following week, and they were able to fit us in within the next two weeks as we were expecting our first child three weeks from the quote. The two individuals that insulated our attics were personable, worked efficiently and cleaned up everything before they left. Would highly recommend this company to anyone.

A 1 Star rating for this joke of a company is too high. Made us change days due to “equipment issues” at the last minute. Then left the job after only completing maybe 15% of it due to more apparent equipment issues, without informing us. Due to leaving without notifying anyone, our house was left unlocked for the remainder of the day. Convinced us to reschedule, which was very inconvenient to have to be out of the house for another 24 hours and arrange accommodations again and then they no-showed without any notice. Couldn’t be less impressed with the lack of professionalism and accountability.*************************In response to your response, the work wasn’t booked under my name. It was 100% your company. Funny how you manage to respond to this but not to any of our follow up contact.

From the estimate to the installation of insulation in my attic, MJM's service was professional, honest & high quality. I appreciated the estimator, Brett's, honesty on what work was needed to seal up my attic hatch & insulate my attic for proper ventilation. I was happy to have the work scheduled promptly. The installation team showed up on time & did a professional job, even though it was a miserable, rainy day. Randy & his team of Chantal & Connor were a pleasant bunch to have in house for a half day. They cleaned up & even spoiled my dog a bit. I would highly recommend this company if you need insulation.

Excellent service so far totally pleased with the contract work carried out . Once NS Power Corp does the required safety measures re their incoming power line. The remaining unit will be put into service and MJM Energy will complete the contract. Final part of the contract completed and very pleased with the outcome . Final invoice received and paid

Was referred to MJM by EfficiencyNovaScotia. They were quick to respond and injected insulation. Not a great job but ok. Their equipment broke down and the job was delayed. Again, no big deal. Then their rep tested airflow in the house. The technician promised to send a copy of the report in a few days. Nothing. I requested twice over four weeks. Nothing. The third time, I was told that the technician was back from holiday in the next day. Nothing. I called to make a fourth request. The report came as requested the next day in a pdf with the sender saying that the report was sent twice by letter. Utter nonsense since we check our mail frequently. Why misrepresent the truth? I really don’t understand and would certainly not recommend this company.

The team at MJM did our spray foam insulation for walls and blown-in insulation for the attic. The quoting was quick and transparent, the work completed on time, on budget. Their office communicated well for scheduling. When i had some challenged with other parts of my home project, they sent their red-seal carpenter to provide advice and give a hand. Honest and professional. Highly recommend.

Had them out recently to insulate our exterior walls. They arrived on time and were great answering any questions or concerns we had. They cleaned up to our satisfaction upon completion. We would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Dealing with MJM energy has been has down the worst customer experience I've ever had. I want to upgrade my housing insulation and after 10 emails, 6 phone calls to their office and 2 months I give up. When I finally got a hold of someone at the office they would refer me to the field agent and when I got a hold of him he would refer me to the office. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
