Pranalife Yoga Teacher Training is LEGENDARY. Asia Nelson is a phenomenal woman, teacher, and someone I am honoured to call friend. I have learned so much from her about yoga, movement, and life. Not only has she equipped me with the necessary knowledge and skills to be a confident new yoga instructor; she has created a space that allowed me to do the necessary emotional work to become the woman I am today. If you are looking to learn from someone who is constantly on the cutting edge of new research and teaches you about so much more than just the postures - then this is where you should be. Study with Asia and you will learn so much, the next skill you'll need is to know how to lasso a hurricane. (Once you take the training, you'll get it...)

The Movement Life
The Movement Life is truly a life changing experience. Asia cracks open everything you thought movement was and breaks it down into language and moves you can understand. Asia’s classes are inclusive and enjoyable to do, even after one class my husband and I noticed a difference in our bodies. I’ve recommended The Movement Life to my family and friends and highly recommend these classes to anyone who wants to move better a little longer in life.

I cannot recommend Asia enough. Her approach and demeanor was a breath of fresh air. The Movement Life
Pranalife YTT was life-changing!!! I had built a regular yoga practice and heard amazing things about Asia Nelson through the yoga community when I decided to sign-up. I didn't have any real plans of teaching yoga at the time but just wanted to deepen my practice and learn something new.I developed way more knowledge than I ever expected, about my body and also my mind. I loved how the first half of the course focused on living yoga and taught us about the eight limbs of yoga, while also learning about body mechanics and anatomy. This knowledge has helped me so much in my everyday life and has made me better prepared to handle stress at work. The second half of the course focused more on teaching yoga, which I first thought wouldn't be useful for me since I wasn't even planning on teaching, but it turned out to be extremely valuable. The yoga teaching section pushed me out of my comfort zone and challenged me in the best ways. I tried new things and developed skills useful in all aspects of life such as improving public speaking and facilitation, building creativity, understanding body movement, and coaching others.After completing this course I am now dipping my toes into actually teaching yoga - something I NEVER would have imagined just a year ago. I highly recommend signing up for Pranalife no matter what your intentions are. It will help you grow and develop both personally and professionally, and you'll have a ton of fun making new connections with the other students!

The way I would describe Asia's teacher training program is this:A holistic and compassionate approach to yoga that your regular yoga class wish it could teach but doesn't (yet).She draws her experience from years in the field to offer a program (much more rounded and broader than a regular 200hr training program) that will give you goosebumps and make you want to live and breathe yoga beyond the poses. To me, this teacher program was more than a course in yoga, it's a freeing way of approaching life. The learning and enriching of the self never stops; even after you leave the mat after a weekend of Yoga.

Asia and the method/approach she takes are amazing! She's authentic as it gets and teaches movements that are safe and strengthening for anyone at any age (I even found them really amazing for postpartum recovery). After extensive research on where to take my teacher training, I knew I had made the right decision with Asia after the first day of class. I feel very blessed to have attended the Pranalife program. It surpassed all my expectations.The curriculum for the 200-hour yoga teacher training at Pranalife Yoga is put together thoughtfully and with attention to the whole practice as it suffuses each moment of our lives.Asia always brings up to date research which is refreshing. I became a certified yoga teacher, but the training has profoundly supported me in all aspects of my life. I'm humbled to have been among such a singular cohort that shared so much joy with each other. We've made lifelong connections that will grow as beautifully as our teaching and our practice.

The Pranalife/movement life yoga teacher training is so much more than you can even think it will be. Not only the content of this training is amazing, Asia has the power of delivering it so clearly and with such passion that makes it irresistible. Furthermore, there are amazing co-teachers invited who bring even more magic to it. I can’t imagine how this training could be better, as it actually surprised me weekend after weekend how well organized and amazing it is, and so well distributed in a reasonable length of time where you can actually digest it. Asia is knowledgeable, approachable, funny and is always there for you throughout this course. I never meet someone who has the capacity that Asia has to encourage confidence in others. I could be writing about this training for hours…because it IS life changing. And it is THE best one out there for sure.
