We loved our meal here - we went for the fried chicken and Gado Gado salad for starters, which were both yum, and then had the special laksa (prawn and chicken) and chicken curry. Both were delicious and the rose milk was amazing! The cafe is really nice, with reasonable prices - was happy to see it was fully booked on a Tuesday night - always a good sign! The staff were also so lovely, we had a long chat with Yao the general manager and told him how much we enjoyed our meal - it was very interesting learning about how the laksa is prepared and all the time and effort that goes into it. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes Malaysian food - we’ll definitely be back to try the beef rendang next time!

Good service. Love the noodle texture. Had the classic curry laksa with hot soup base, very tastey and hot but lack depth! Also tried the Assam laksa, soup base was full of umami and fishy. A bit pricey overall.

One of the best laksas in London! Rich, fiery broth with deep flavour. Fried chicken is great too.

The laksa is great but the place is overpriced for what it is. Special laksa was delicious, I asked for the hottest option and it was really flavourful. But the fried chicken isn’t worth the money, and even though the laksa was creamy and delicious, at £20, felt like it was an expensive casual eat.

Very disappointing expensive non-authentic food. Pointlessly loud music blaring away. AVOIDWas really looking forward to trying out their “special” laksa (spicy version). Simply put - it’s not a laksa but more a “kari mee” (curry noodles). Only chicken, tofu and prawn in the noodles (no fish cake and they ran out of eggs on a Bank Holiday Monday at 4pm).The flavour was very one dimensional and basic. The Laksa cost about £22 - complete waste of money. Highly recommend going to Laksamania instead - not as “cool” but authentic food at half the price. The absolutely tiny 3 curry puffs were nice but £8 - another rip off. Go to Old Chang Kee at Covent Garden for huge delicious curry puffs at £4 each. For 3 people, we paid over £120 in total. Unforgivable when the food was so dreadful. Utter and complete rip off.And for some incomprehensible reason, they play boring pop music at ridiculously loud levels. AVOID

Overall: i didn't finish anything I ordered. I just left to eat at another restaurant.Food: i had the fried chicken as an appetizer and the chicken and rice curry. Both dishes were flavorless and uninspired. I asked for salt and they gave me what tasted like iodized kosher salt.Staff: friendly and attentiveDrinks: they only have one canned lager on the beer menu.Ambiance: nothing noteworthy or mentionable about the ambiance.

Pandan cocktail was interesting. Fried chicken and gado gado salad were excellent starters. The beef rendang, which was on special, was poor from a value perspective. They served a large bowl of rice and a tiny amount of beef. For £20 I would not recommend the beef as there is much better value in London. Truly disappointing.

Wonderful meal. I ordered the Malaysian fried chicken and the special laksa. Both were superb. The special laksa came with prawns, chicken and tofu. It was the perfect meal to battle the cold weather. Portions sizes were great. Service was awesome. Due to its popularity, our party booked in advance to avoid any waiting times. Would highly recommend!

Staff were very friendly and attentive and had pictures of the food ready for when I asked questions. The starters were really delicious, we had fried chicken and gado gado salad and they complemented each other so well. They specialise is laksa, and while I’m definitely no expert, the flavour was great and the bowl was full. The general manager came over and explained some of the process of making it, it take 4 days and hours and hours of stirring, sounds like they put a lot an effort and passion into it.Would definitely go back.
