My grade 8 girl needed a dress and my oh my did we search far and wide. Finally found this sweet store and was SO impressed with their friendly service and warm hearts. (wish we found it sooner lol) This was the most pleasant shopping experience we've had this entire hunt for her perfect dress. She did in fact find the perfect one, and these ladies helping us today were the reason why. Their selections were wonderful. They are so funny, and honest, and lovely. I loved how they cared about our style and preference and worked to find things that worked with that direction. They were just so wonderful to us. Libby and I can't say enough good things about this store!!

Honestly, this place was amazing!! I came in to get a dress for an important gala fort boyfriends work conference in Toronto and the ladies were beyond helpful. Gave me multiple options within my budget and the dress I chose fit like a glove. The dresses are on the more expensive side but with the quality of fabric it’s worth the price. They have amazing options for prom dress and mother of the bride dresses. They also have shorter options for grade 8 graduation!! I highly recommend coming to this store to find the perfect dress for your big day!!!

I was FINALLY in the store for the first time today, and had so much fun trying on dresses! The service was amazing, and the owners were so kind and lovely. I left with two dresses, and will definitely be back soon!

The women running the store were very kind, but that’s kind of the only good thing I can say about the store. It was not accessible in the slightest- there’s no space to move around inside (wheelchair and walker users beware- you won’t even be able to get inside because there are two steps up) and no chairs available; if you have any health problems, this store will not be good for you. Almost all of the dresses were for sizes 4 or less- if you are average weight, you won’t find anything. The dresses themselves were pretty, but there wasn’t much selection.

What an amazing store! After multiple stops and an unhappy girl we found kindred spirit. Open on a day they were normally closed due to March break and it was packed! The ladies quickly and efficiently helped every single person to find their perfect dress, while continually checking in and answering questions. My daughter went back with 4 dresses to try on, their excitement over every customer and how they looked in each dress was amazing! The atmosphere was cozy, bubbly and full of excitement! My daughter found the perfect dress that just made her beam, along with the wonderful compliments from the ladies running the store. Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

I am so disappointed with the price I was charged for a dress from this shop on belief it was satin and lined. First and foremost I have shopped this store for nearly 3 decades for all the girls in my family including my nieces. My family is from Scotland and the owner and her lovely wee dog were always there to greet us. I will not be back. I will not refer another individual there. My daughter needed a simple dress for a date to prom she was not graduating as she is grade 11. I find the brand of dress online, same style number and color rght from manufacturer at a suggested retail price of $200 less then Kindred Spirit robbed me for sane dress.. Kindred Spirit charged mè $325 and LA SCALA suggested total price was CAD $115. I am so very disgusted with a store I have spent thousands of dollars in over the decades and my family relationship severed in one deceifull transaction.Sharon Wade

Went in looking for a wedding dress in between pandemic closures. Fabulous experience, fabulous women!I felt helped out and supported at every turn, and the women were so knowledgeable and fantastic it was a breeze! (I HATE dress shopping)Bought my dress, plus two bridesmaid dresses. We wanted something a little different, and they did not disappoint! Wonderful selection, of all price ranges.

Wonderful experience shopping here! Staff helped me greatly and I was able to find the perfect prom dress for me within an hour.

Had a fabulous time! The ladies here are phenomenal and so fun to talk to. I’m usually quite picky and find it hard to find flattering dresses but we were in and out in about an hour! They also don’t try to push/sell anything, instead they give honest opinions and help find something that makes you feel comfortable and gorgeous!! Highly recommend!!
