Great gallery! The gallery represents many very accomplished local artists, as well as some distant ones. Staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Displays are very tastefully done. It's easy to spend a lot of time here, enjoying all of the treasures. Food for the soul! Definitely worth a visit!

If you are in southern Alberta you have to stop in at the Bluerock Gallery. This gallery/bookstore/gift shop is located half an hour south of Calgary on the Cowboy Trail. There is a large selection of Canadian authors. I was impressed to see a specific section for First Nation books. The store carries pottery from local artists. The staff are friendly and helpful. I bought some books for my grandson, but I will be back to look for something for me!

I cannot say enough good things about Bluerock and recommend it to anyone as a place to browse or find that perfect something. The curated selection of art produced by some of the finest painters, potters and fiber artists is welcoming and accessible. The book selection is very inviting and I seem to always leave with something. Best of all, the staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The gallery is a jewel in the Foothills!

What a wonderfully curated gallery/shop! I was surprised at how extensive the selection of this shop was, and everything is clearly very high quality, though there are definitely products in all price ranges. Definitely worth the drive, we easily spent 90 minutes exploring everything they had to offer.Special shout-out to Annika who was truly lovely to chat with, she knew so much about the art pieces and was a delightful host.And kudos to the curator of the book selection, clearly a lot of care and dedication has gone into the choices on the shelves, there were a number of times where I did a double take when I saw certain books and topics there, incredible work on that! Picked up a few I’m looking forward to cracking open soon!

What a fabulous gallery/store this is!We were in today and had such a lovely time browsing the carefully selected and diverse items in the store, with particular emphasis on locally-produced offerings.From pottery to books to telescopes to blown glass to paintings and then much much more, everything is a testament to excellent artistry.It is a wonderful, peaceful place to visit and spend some time.

I personally find conservative or realistic paintings boring. They do carry safe" themed art pieces

What a neat store. They have some of the best pottery and a great selection of books. The art is very appealing. Nice little place.

A great place to be exposed to a variety of artists and styles using a plethora of mediums. From sculptures to paintings to books and journals. The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. Worth a visit even if you're just trying to find a happy place where you're surrounded by inspiration and positive energy.
