been in the dark now for 11 days now and more to come. trees are still laying on the lines, and lines are across roads still. haven't seen a crew doing any sort of work yet on my road.also had a work order in to replace the pole in my yard since hurricane Doiron(that didn't happen), when power was out for over a week then also.

Truly disappointed with their response times during dire times. One would expect better results in this day and age, where electrical emergencies would receive priority treatment--but that doesn't appear to be their primary objective--despite the many customer complaints. While we all face darkness and have been without electricity for five days, we have yet to see any improvements thus far. I am hoping that the government of PEI steps in and replaces the employees with more capable people that are able to assist during such dire times. God bless the residents of PEI, and I hope you all receive power soon!

Sure Denis King himself admitted that the provincial government in PEI is to inept to take over control of the electrical grid from Fortis. But seriously why does a private business as important to the day to day functions of islanders lives as this one think its fine for them to have there offices closed for an extended period over theholidays. I have to work today, even folks working for the government took my calls today. if I could give zero stars I would.

I think Maritime Electric are doing their best even if it isn't good enough to keep the power going on a sunny day. Fix your infrastructure. It isn't working for the people.

It seems that any time we have a windy day on the Eastern side of the island, you can expect the power to go out. Maritime Electric needs to be pro-active, not reactive, and improve the grid in this area. And when the power goes out, no one answers the phone.

I think the Maritime Electric crew out on the streets are doing their best with what they have, so thank you all for you're efforts. I appreciate everything you're doing to get the power restored. But, those who run the company should have had an emergency plan in place well before Fiona hit. I'm sure they had some idea that this hurricane would be destructive and that they wouldn't have enough crew and resources to fix the devastation. They're our only electric company here as far as I know, so I am disappointed in how the company has handled this natural disaster. It's absolutely mind blowing how under prepared the company was even though we all knew the hurricane was coming. That being said, many people, including myself, underestimated how serious this hurricane was going to be. But, somehow I just don't think that's a good enough excuse for our one electric company that runs the whole island to use. They underestimated and didn't properly prepare for Fiona, and this is something the public won't easily forgive and forget. The worst part about this situation is, I don't think the company will improve, even after this massive error. Why would they want to fix their issues when no one will hold them accountable for what has happened?Again, I want to thank the crew that are hard at work trying to fix everything. Let's be kind to those who are out there working, they're not responsible for how the company handled the situation, they're just trying to their best with the resources they have.

Been asking for months now to have a tree from Fiona taken off the power lines in front of my property. I'd love to clean up my yard, but i don't want to die doing it. They simply do not care. This company puts profits ahead of safety and customers. Pathetic

Do you want power? Well they're the only choice you have for most of pei. Expect constant power outages every winter, and hurricanes? Oh boy just terrible.Infrastructure is a joke, tree clearing almost non existent, hurricane did a better job.Hoping the government someday removes them and we can improve the infrastructure and pricing with them gone.

Maritime electric can’t keep ahead of all the work to prevent customers from losing power for 3 weeks. And we wait seemingly endlessly for them to show up and give us 2 meters less than an hours work and we’ve been waiting 6 weeks when almost 40 solar panels have been sitting there idle. What a joke they are
