Best ice cream we've had all summer, very reasonable prices! The grill food being served also looked very good. Nice little find on the beach !

Thank you A&J Snack Shack for offering vegan ice cream! My 10 year old can't have dairy and she is so happy to have ice cream options here. We've also had the poutine, onion rings and chicken strips, all delicious!

Great Belle River gem. My husband and I get ice cream here constantly. Always generous portions for a reasonable price. A lot of flavours to choose from. Great service as well; all of the girls are always so friendly and cheerful. Service with a smile :)

Wait times were unbelievable today. Took a full hour or more for a couple hotdogs, and chicken fingers. There was no fries because their fryer was down. Ice cream was moving but my god they should put a sign up or tell people the reality of over 30min wait for food, they kept saying “10min” for food, uh no it was wayyy worse than that.

They have delicious cookie dough ice cream they make the best milkshakes fries are always so delicious if you ask them for vinegar they’ll give you some vinegar for your fries or anything

For being a beach stand, the food is amazing. Always get hotdogs and chicken strips before our ice creams. Love the beach and the great service at the Shack.

Locally owned spot on Belle River Beach. Definitely the best soft serve in the county. Lots of hard ice cream flavours and they come up with some very creative specials. Nice little spot to habe in BR

Great family run place to get a quick meal, fries or ice cream right off the beach. Conveniently located where West River St meets Caille Ave, off the Waterfront Trail and just across the river from Lakeview Park with associated Belle River Marina. There is plenty of open seating in a large covered area with full views of the Lakeview Park West Beach, Lake St Clair and the west pier. Enjoy a meal before taking a nice walk along the pier.
