Lifetime of Love Doula Services

When I became pregnant I didn’t know anything about pregnancy, labour, or delivery and found myself a bit overwhelmed and anxious. A friend told me about Lifetime of Love Doulas and I decided to sign up for a free pregnancy session to help educate myself. After the class I felt better about the process and knew Carol Anne and SJ could be an amazing resource for my husband and I. We knew hiring a doula could help us get through the next few months as we started out on a new journey. Not only did it change our delivery experience but the classes included were so beneficial. As we got closer to our due date having a direct communication line with our doula team was amazing and I felt more confident that I could do this. Anytime I had a question, concern, or wasn’t sure about something I just needed to send off a message and I would have an answer I was confident in quickly. Every step of the way I had help from Carol Anne, SJ, Tara and Amanda before, during and after birth and they helped us so much, I couldn’t imagine going through the journey without them. Hiring a doula was one of the best things we could have done and we will for sure use them again when we have another baby.

I LOVE the Lifetime of Love Doulas! I am currently 9 months pregnant (1st baby) and recently completed the Hypnobirthing and Lactation classes offered. I learned so much about how my body and baby are interconnected during pregnancy and post delivery. I definitely recommend anyone seeking additional support to reach out to them. SJ and Carol Anne are amazing at what they do, they offer a non-discriminatory approach to providing service and information and my husband and I feel so much more confident and prepared in our abilities as soon to be parents. My husband and I had Tara and Carol Anne as our birth doula team. As soon to become first time parents we wanted to be as prepared as possible leading up to the birth and with the help of our doulas we really felt we had all the tools going into the birth and early days of parenthood. We took advantage of all the classes that were available to us (there were many included with our package) and also did the hypnobirthing course. All the courses were extremely informative and helpful and worth taking even if you're not planning on having a birth or post partum doula. It's important to note that we were able to have a portion of the cost covered through my husband's benefits, but I had to call them to confirm it was covered, it's not something that I was able to find through logging into our account.We are so thankful and grateful to our doulas especially Tara who attended the birth, she was so helpful to me but also my husband, they really worked as a team to help support me during labour.Highly recommend Lifetime of Love Doula Services for anyone that is pregnant!

Lifetime of Love Doulas were my saving grace for my second birth, when I knew I couldn't have an epidural for pain relief. SJ and Tara met with my husband and I before birth, giving us much valuable information and helping me feel empowered for my VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section). I had a successful VBAC with their support and highly recommend them! Everyone should have such knowledgeable doulas on their birth team!

The doulas at Lifetime of Love were absolutely instrumental in my positive pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum experience! As a first time mom, I had a lot of anxiety in facing the unknown, and their warmth and expertise made me feel confident I had people in my corner to support and guide me through the process. The prenatal classes were amazing. They are always able to cite the latest research, which fills you with confidence you are getting up-to-date, evidence-based information and advice.Tara was present at our daughter’s birth, and we worked with her and SJ during the postpartum period, mostly for breastfeeding support. We had some feeding challenges, and I honestly don’t know what we would have done without them — showing me how to pump, making a feeding schedule for us, and showing us techniques to get my daughter from bottle to breast in the early days.Highly, HIGHLY recommend their services. We had an amazing experience using Lifetime of Love Doula. SJ and Carol Anne are so knowledgeable, they are both so loving and welcoming it really helped ease our nerves for our first home birth experience. When the big day arrived, I paged my midwife and the doulas at the same time. The midwife was busy with two other labours at a hospital and wasn’t sure if she’d make it to our home in time. Luckily SJ came within the hour of me paging. When she reached our home, my contractions had stopped. She was great at providing solutions to get my contractions going. My water had broke the day before so I was on a time crunch to get this baby out, for risk of infection. During my contractions she helped with hip compressions and guided me through different positions. She also helped set up my new breast pump and provided help to my husband in setting up the birthing tub. Both my husband and I felt at ease knowing we had extra help and a knowledgeable professional to help us through this experience. I’m also so grateful for the video and pictures she captured during the most memorable experience of our life. Thank you to SJ and Carol Anne. Highly recommend!My partner and I recently welcomed our first child into the world and, all things considered, had a pretty easy going and stress free pregnancy and birth. I can safely say that we attribute a large part of this to the amazing team at Lifetime of Love Doulas. Their support, knowledge and care gave us the confidence to trust ourselves and the decisions we chose to make throughout the process.The online educational courses are also fantastic and a must for any first time mom.Special thank you to Tara and SJ :)

My wife and I first met the doulas preparing for the birth of our first born at their Hypnobirthing series, and Breast Feeding Class. We used them for postnatal care after our daughter was born back in 2018, and they were a key component in helping my wife and daughter in their breast feeding journey, and helping us feel settled as parents and a family. When it came time for our second child, we once more enlisted Life Time as Love Doula Services as part of our birth team. Again, they were pivotal in our transition to a family of four, in the birth of our son in July of 2021. I continue to have a working relationship with the Doula Team, as they are above and beyond anything I could have imagined for helping families transition to parenthood, and feel its something everyone should have access to! Carol Anne and SJ were/are amazing birth care workers.

Amazing service. I highly recommend Lifetime of Love. Being pregnant with my first baby I really wanted to educate myself and make sure I could learn as much as possible to help myself and my little one on our new journey… the breastfeeding and Hypnobirthing courses were extremely helpful. I also could not have got through my labor and birth without my Doula Amanda, she stuck by my side through it all and helped give my husband a break when needed. Having the extra support and care postpartum was very beneficial- especially learning to breastfeed and simple tips/tricks for diaper changes/ bathing.. We couldn’t say enough good things !!! Lifetime of Love Doula Services provided the ultimate support, love and nurturing our budding family needed when we welcomed our first born! I had anxiety in pregnancy and being able to take pre natal courses as part of our package was such a great help ! Their hospital packing list also helped me feel prepared for labour and delivery !Tara was such a huge support during labour - and gave us so much care and love and information as we moved through each phase. She stayed with us during the emergency c section and recovery, and supported our family at home as we adjusted to new parenthood ! SJ continued to provide postpartum support as we needed it, really helping us move through the unknowns and questions - including pumping and milk production. Together, this team helped build our confidence, as new parents ! The packages are awesome and adding additional postpartum support is affordable and super easy to do! 6 months postpartum and still enjoying ALL the resources this team provides including sleep classes and introducing solids! They are well connected so if you have concerns with sleep, they have a consultant ! If your concern is food - they have a consultant! If your concern is body feeding - they can help over the phone or with drop in classes! This team is allllll encompassing - they offer and give so much of their time and knowledge but also, so much of themselves and their hearts. Words cannot express what Tara and SJ gave to us and our never ended gratitude towards them ❤️- This team is unbelievable!!!!!! Sign uuppppp - you’ll be so thankful you did !!
