2 years post-operation review from someone with -6.00 / -5.5 prescription with an astigmatism -I still can’t stop recommending Vivid to everyone looking to get the operation. To this day I still have better than 20/20 vision. The consultations were thorough, and the staff made sure I was very comfortable with my assessment and prescription before the operation. The procedure was painless, and was over so fast that the feeling of your eyes being operated on didn’t make me feel uncomfortable, and I went in there worried about my eyes being touched. The method they use did not feel invasive at all.Walking out of the procedure the improvement in my vision was already huge. By the next day it cleared more with slight blurriness in an eye. After about a week my vision was crystal clear. And driving at night the biggest improvement that I did not expect to have: I no longer see light flares and streaking from headlights and streetlights and for those who are also affected by this, this would have been reason enough for me to get this operation.

I went to vivid for a consultation, and they were super fast to book in me in to get LASIK. I was hesitant on getting it done before Mexico but they told me everything would fine before going.I am 100% happy I went with them because now I won’t need glasses or contacts for my trip. Getting the procedure done was super easy all the girls were super friendly and Dr. Baldassare was super nice! I am so glad I went with them. If you have the money to get, I would 100% recommend. Even going for a free consultation to get your options.

I am one month out from my Lasik procedure and am very pleased with the result. I didn't know going into my consultation how damaged and dry my eyes were from contact over-use but the staff were really great about walking me through bringing them back to health and all of the steps of the procedure. I was surprised how quick & painless the procedure itself was, as was the recovery. My vision is 20/20 and more importantly, I know I'm not causing any further damage from contact use. A win all around!

After yet another Summer of fighting with contacts that would dry out before I was finished biking, hiking, kayaking, etc, I decided to make a consult appointment this past Fall with Vivid based on their Google reviews. I had worn glasses nearly my entire life and it never occurred to me to look into this until then. After the consult I booked an appointment for the procedure for the following month. The entire process sounded daunting and I was low key worried that something would go wrong or I would live with dry eyes or something forever afterwards (knowing how annoying it was when my contacts felt dry). Any questions I asked during the consult, via email or on procedure day were always answered to my relief, based on their vast experience and education. The procedure itself was short lived, which I am glad for as I am claustrophobic and having the machines and people around my head was not something I would normally sign up for. They do offer an anti anxiety medication prior to, and I did take half a pill about 20 minutes before and half directly before (I had never taken one before and was worried what it would feel like). I am glad I took one. It took the edge off and made me sleep soundly once I left and was in bed. She said some people take two.As for post op, I found I slept a lot for the next couple of days. I didn't want to venture too far away from the house as there is a regiment of two types of drops you must keep on track with 4 times a day. Personally, I did the procedure when I had a week off of work to avoid any eye strain, recycled air, sources of infection from an environment that can be unhygienic (Correctional Officer). The following two weeks after that, my eyes were less and less dry in the recycled air setting and needed less drops and the slight sensitivity to brightness that I had the first two weeks was gone My first time driving at night a week post op had brightness and halos from the oncoming traffic, but 5 weeks post op now, that has improved greatly, as has the dryness. I don't remember when the brightness became unnoticeable, just one day your brain figures it out and you don't notice it anymore. The dryness is pretty much nonexistent now (even though this has been a very dry season and didn't help my case when dryness can already be a symptom) and my eye sight is better than 20/20.My optometrist, who does the scheduled post op checkups in my hometown so I don't have to travel to Kelowna, is familiar with this laser centre. He said Dr Baldassare is VERY good at his job and you get what you pay for" because had I not told him I was there for a one week (then one month) post op from laser eye surgery

After wearing glasses and contacts for 20+ years, I decided to get a consultation to see if I was a candidate for LASIK. Everyone I came in contact with was professional, respectful and knowledgeable & answered all my questions thoroughly. The procedure itself was quick and painless. On the day of surgery I was in the office for less than 1 hour from preop to post op.Would highly recommend to anyone who’s wanting to live a contact and glasses free lifestyle!

Vivid laser centre changed my life for the better!  I was tired of wearing contacts and glasses every day of my life: contacts never agreed with my eyes and it impacted my ability to freely participate in outdoor activities. Now I don't have to worry about damaging my eyes everyday of my life. Best decision of my life!

Got Lasik here about a month ago. Solid staff and great communication. Quick and easy procedure. Vision is restored fast, recovery is short, and Vivid is available throughout it all. Definitely recommend

I had my laser eye surgery done at Vivid and am thrilled with my choice. I appreciated the honesty, transparency, and patience given by the staff as I asked all of my questions, the lack of pressure to make a decision but all the support needed to make one, the attentive and immediate response to emails, and the kind bedside manner of everyone who works there. Dr. B, Emily, and all of the staff made me feel so comfortable the day of the procedure, and walked me through it step by step. My vision only continues to improve and my night vision is spectacular. It was the best choice I could have made.

Made this post in July. The response I got wasn't from Dr. Baldassare but instead his counsel requesting all correspondence go through their office. He's still not provided a refund or been of any help whatsoever. I've had to file a complaint with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. Pretty disappointing.I spent a lot of time
