Love Family Owned Motels. Clean room. Good firm beds. Plenty of big bath towels. Enjoyed our conversation with the Son at check in. Breakfast, is better than the likes of holiday inn. It’s evident they care!Definitely will stay again. Laundry, pub with good food and service right next door.

Great mom and pop feel with special touches. Generous breakfast!!! Fantastic staff!! Awesome pillows, good ac in one room, fan in the other, cool kitchen units in the suites in which we were upgraded. Lots of towels. TVs in both rooms. Easy parking, quick stop on the highway. Dated and imperfect plumbing, but this exceeds my expectations for a road trip budget hotel by far.

This is not your average motel. The owners epitomize small town friendliness and always were super helpful. The rooms are clean spacious and comfortable. The continental breakfast hit the spot every morning with a wide variety of offerings. All in all a great experience and I would have no hesitation recommending the Lazy J to family and friends.

Overall just a nice small town place. Comfy bed. Rolled in at 1am so the accommodations didn't matter but did not disappoint.

John at the desk was friendly and great about explaining the history of the place. The continental breakfast went far beyond regular Continental, great selection of foods like cereals, different breads for toasting, tea and coffee, etc. The room was clean and large and the towels and shower were awesome. My only complaint was that the fridge unit in the second room was very loud, and I could hear it through the door separating the two.

The owners are excellent people, and the 500 gallon water tanks provide THE BEST shower in Alberta, hands down. For $80 a night I highly recommend this place.

I used the public laundry mat. Machines were clean (most important to me). Price for the machines was reasonable . Facilities were worn but tidy.

The service was great, the front desk staff were very friendly, accommodating, and chatty. I felt safe staying there. Due to covid restrictions they couldn't have breakfast, but there was a coffee machine. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

If I could give a zero I would. This is the most disgusting motel I’ve ever seen. Filthy from top to bottom, dirty sheets with other peoples hair all over it, dirty bathroom, the walls have smears all over it. It’s very musty, but you can’t use the fans because they are covered in dust. It’s also right off the highway and you can hear traffic all night long. WARNING DO NOT STAY HERE ⚠️

We stayed there for 1 night in our way to Waterton park. We had a one bedroom with 2 queen beds in the bedroom and 1 king in the main room. Spacious rooms. The kids really liked that they don’t have to share a bed. The place is very clean. The breakfast has a good variety even though it’s continental ( no eggs). Will come back again on way to Lethbridge or Waterton.
