Good prices and great selection but consistently the longest cashier lineups of all the 10 or so grocery stores in the area which sadly makes the saving and selection not worth a 10+ minute wait in line even in the express lane like the instance I'm dealing with as I write this review. Now 12 minutes to be exact for 6 items. Sigh...

People need to know what kind of beef is being sold at this location. This was being sold at $3 off... absolutely dangerous and careless, and complete disregard for customer safety. The manager did remove the several items that were bad, and there was several because obveously nobody would touch it. The expiration date was April 2, and several were on display. Do better.

Overall, a large market,, nicely kept and well stocked. Vegetable aisle looks bland. Staff are kept busy, and good management. Only flaw I found are the rare instances of rookie undercover security creeping too close behind shoppers who are not acting suspicious but simply shopping.... this makes one want to shop at another store. So, 1 stars instead of 5, because most other stores you don't feel or see undercover guards stalking you while you simply shop.... managers in such cases should investigate incidents for rogue guard activities instead of get defensive and act in denial.UPDATE,...BEEN ABOUT A YEAR SINCE I BOYCOTTED THIS STORE DUE TO THAT RUDE STORE SECURITY INCIDENT I MENTIONED AND MANAGERS INDIFFERENCE TO IT.... THE STORE LOST $3000 IN GROCERY SHOPPING I WOULD'VE NORMALLY DONE THERE OTHERWISE.

This review is for Aberdeen sea food market within Freshco.I got fresh cod fish from Aberdeen market inside freshco. Its a chain of sea foods and is not directly part of Freshco. When I was cutting the fish for cooking, there were worms inside it and it was disgusting. I understand that Cod fish generally have worms, but I did not like it left and not cleaned. When I went back to return, the lady at the counter was rude. She said that cod will have worms and she cannot guarantee worm free cods. It was ok till then. Then she asked me to do a favor and not buy fish from there. She also stated that she will not refund for the fish.That was rude!!Luckily Freshco refunded me for the fish. Would never buy stuff from Aberdeen inside Freshco.

Decent assortment of products. Price matching is convenient and super fast. I didn’t find long lines.

Never buy coconuts pleaseI’ve tried for 20 times 19 times I got spoiled one and even after complaining several times to the produce manager no use 2 $ each freshco @ gerrad owe me 38 $

Store is good for the basic essentials, there is one worker here (I think he may be manager), whom I saw be extremely disrespectful to customers on more than one occasion. There needs to be more check out lanes open, you're lucky to have 4 Cashiers ready or at least get some self checkouts here. I like the Loblaws across the street more for produce and meats.
