I have used Godin, Lacroix, Monette Inc. services for about 10 years. I drop by with no appointment when it is convenient for me and have always been seen by someone within 10 to 15 minutes. A few days later my income tax returns are ready and have always been perfect and much less expensive than other accounting firms. I love being able to access my returns and pay for the fee over the internet.My son who lives in Ontario and owns a business transferred his taxes to Godin and not only saved $2000 the first year but had his taxes redone for the previous year and also received a substantial return. I have personally recommended Godin to at least 5 other people who now only have their returns done by them and are extremely satisfied.

They are the worst accountants I have ever seen. They ended up filling my taxes late 2 years in row when they had all my information months in advance for both my personal and corporation. They have tried to overcharge me twice as well. They put the blame on me instead of owning up to their mistakes. If I could give a zero or minus I would. Do yourself a favor and stay away!

our first two years was ok, good service from M. Sarazin but on the third years...they switch us to a new person, ms. Potvin WHO we did not appreciated her work, louzy and bad services, cost us more money also, drop them for another firm.

Quick service. And they speak excellent French. Not sure about English but I imagine it is ok to.Areas to improve: the online tool generates a report that is not as clear as it should be. I think one of the accountants realized this.Strengths When I showed up to sign the documents, the Admin assistant did not try to fudge a response. She called one of the accountants and he addressed the issue with minimal fuss.What I wish the online tool would do: provide two documents.Document 1: tax report (around 50 pages)Document 2: PDF for any signatures that are needed so you don’t have to search for anything.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! A bug in a computer program ( Turbo Tax) resulted in my common-law wife owing the gov't over $600 when she has $0 income ( she's disabled and a dependent). H&R Block confirmed an amount, but I went to Godin, Lacroix & Associés Inc who did the same paperwork, and came up with several thousand dollars less! I asked them SEVERAL TIMES to return my papers (T4's, etc) and they would not unless the got paid. They didn't even file the taxes! Now looking into legal / criminal recourse, pretty sure its illegal to keep someone's sensitive documents.
