Our linkage had not been managed correctly by our boat mechanics at home in the US. We called the staff of Advanced Marine in Campbell River. We drove and boated 4 hours yo get there, they had the linkage repaired in 20 minutes, had us go test it at the local Marina, and saved our trip! They are fabulous!Christie was outstanding in remembering my husband from his call, making sure our boat was fixed, and sending us happily on our way. Very professional, knowledgeable, honest and friendly. We've dealt with 2 other shops specializing in Volvo diesels and in our opinion, these guys are by far the best. We appreciate the old school approach where the customer is dealing directly with the mechanic who was working on our boat, who took us into the shop and showed/discussed the work and why, plus gave helpful tips we can do on our own. Even though the shop is a 3 hour drive from home, it's well worth the drive.

Just bought a 9.9 4 stroke to replace my 30 year old Mariner 2 stroke short shaft. I was happy with the Service provided in placing the engine onto my 14 foot Aluminum LUND ( Thanks Steve) and also for help by phone when I had flooded the engine and could not get it started. Called and Steve resolved my issue. Always a learning curve with a new engine. Happy with all aspects of Advanced Marine Power. Yes and Christie arranged for me to get my motor on within hours of my purchase, Thanks Christie. Other suppliers in the area suggested I would need to go to a higher HP to plane my boat but Reg said the MERC would do the job and he was correct. Thanks Reg.
