But that was years ago. Decided to give it another try and I was pretty happy about it! Took the kids there twice and they both loved it =). Food came pretty fast, but then again we ate at like 5pm when it wasn't that busy.SUNSET ROLL $16.95Tuna & Avocado Roll, Torched sockeye salmon & chopped scallop, alfalfa and masago. This roll was very good!9.5/10BLACK COD SHOYU YAKI $18.95Grilled black cod marinated with sake-miso. This was good, and very melt-in-your-mouth, BUT I found that the sake-miso sauce wasn't the best I've had. It was a bit too lemony or tangy or something. It was good, but not great.7.5/10AGEDASHI TOFU $5.95Soft tofu coated with corn starch and deep fried with tempura sauce. This is one of the best I've had! Careful though, its HOT (temperature-wise), and stays hot for 5-10min.10/10DYNAMITE ROLL $6.95Imitation crab meat, avocado, cucumber, prawn tempura. Make sure you request the smaller size one, they give you TEN small pieces as opposed to 5 large pieces. I had both, and in my opinion the smaller ones tasted much better. One of my sons loves dynamite rolls, so I've had a lot of them myself and these ones are pretty good!8.7/10CHICKEN KATSU DON $14.95Breaded Chicken Fillet with egg and onion. This was pretty good! Solid!8.6/10Would I come back? Yes, definitely!

The experience I had today in this restaurant was very unpleasant, since the girls who served us were a bit racist. I felt from their attitude that it bothered them to attend. I really do not recommend it as an experience. the food was good. I would not return to this restaurant. They need to have the ability to give good customer service. to comment finally when we had finished and they brought us a box with sweets. the girl just threw the sweets on the table and took the box.

The food here is delicious. The sushi is fresh and tastes excellent. They have a large selection of specialty rolls which they are known for. I had the Mega Bento Box, Big Boss specialty roll and Hawaiian Poke Don. The tempura from the bento box was very well done, it was crispy and not greasy. Of the three items, my favourite was the Hawaiian Poke Don. The tuna in the poke was delicious! Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant is bright and clean. I definitely recommend trying Mega Sushi.

Good ambience. Clean. Staff were all nice and the food came quickly. The food was fresh and flavorful. Miso soup was very good, piping hot, always a good sign (and it came complementary to my bowl). Self serve tea was a nice touch. Also had a sushi roll which was very good. Would definitely recommend.

I love their doft shell crab & beef udon. Salmon sushi & tempura are not bad (but yeah, not excellent either). The quantity exceeded our expectations of the price. The quality was good according to the price range. I wish they had more drinks options.

Friendly dine in restaurant. Server was attentive. Sold out on a couple of items at 7:30pm on a Wednesday which was disappointing. I was surprised with the good portions of the soft shell crab.

This is our first visit here as our regular Japanese place was closed on Tuesday.It took us a while to find it as the giant sign says Mexico Cantina Sushi, we came to find out that they share the lot with a Mexican restaurant next door.There is limited Parking only 3 tight spots.We arrives at 11:30 and there were three servers there for lunch service. We were served our own large pot of tea instead of a little cup.The menu is vast and have lots of specialty rolls, the usual bento boxes and combo platters.We tried:Prawn and Yam Tempura - typical fare but nothing specialMonkey Brain Appetizer - could be an actual meal if you love avocados, we were served 4 halves with crabmeat, panko, saucy mayo all sitting atop a green saladScallop Oshi- the photo on the menu looks better than what we were served, we hardly taste the scallop over the cheesy rice over sauceHamachi Sashimi - fresh and melt in your mouthWe will probably return to try some of the other menu items, we saw another patron ordered a round platter with a flaming fire, would be cool to try that.

This shop is not big, not in the center. The sashimi is very fresh, the portions are large, delicious and not expensive, and the service is very good. Many people go there at noon on weekdays. Fortunately, there is still a place to sit outside, but the serving speed is a bit slow. The service staff very enthusiastic.
