Great spot for transient boaters. Fuel and washrooms. On the river. Easy walk to beach and town that has good restaurants and boutique shops.

Stopped over in Bayfield on our voyage from Wiarton to Bath, Ont.The marina is readily accessible as you enter the waterway and the staff were pleasant and very helpful. We stayed an extra day due to poor weather and made use of the courtesy car the marina had available for patrons.The downtown area of Bayfield was very cute and only a 15 minute walk up the hill when the car was not available.A busy little marina with some large vessels coming and going in a tight space so keep your eyes open.

One of my favourite local marinas in Bayfield, ON. That little beach and the scenic walk along the pier was worth it for any first time tourist to this area.

Bayfield is one of those secret treasure troves you stumble upon serendipitously...a miniature Niagara-on-the-Lake. Located on beautiful Lake Huron, famous for quaint shops, the Little Inn, character restaurants, a public beach, romantic sunsets and picturesque marinas, Bayfield remains one of my favourite Ontario getaways.
