Rainbow Haven Beach Provincial Park
I went here for the first time last week and was shocked at how crowded it was. We had to park and walk 15 minutes because the parking lots were full and cars were parked so far down the road. It was the busiest beach I've ever been to - definitely not quiet, relaxing, or enjoyable.

Great beach. Not a long walk to get to the water. Can walk for awhile along the shore. Beware that some people have dogs off leash.

Pretty nice Beach. Depending on the day it can be pretty windy and because the sand is so fine you feel like you're getting sandblasted but besides that it's fine.

Beautiful big sandy beach. Lots of parking. Clean washrooms, quite a few picnic tables, even a covered area with power. (I need my coffee) I like that it has lifeguards. Only downside is the seaweed convers pretty early in the water, maybe at high tide it's better.

Wicked beach just outside Cole Harbour.Nice sandy beach,Nice water.Nice coastal views across the sand and a sprawling landscape.Easy walk out into the water and back, along with generous parking.Didn't notice a lifeguard on duty. The sun was out when I went and it was populous and spread out.The beach was clean and nice to see it was taken care of.

Probably the best experience I've had on a beach. This was my first time ever visiting this beach, and my family and I stayed in our RV there for a couple nights here in the far parking lot, and as long as you keep your stuff clean and don't act like a jerk then you should be just fine...It's absolutely beautiful here and this was my first Atlantic Experience in the water, and it being the 11th of September the water was 21°c and did not disappoint me.Odin was shinging brightly on us all!

This is a spot where time seems to stand still, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty and an expansive horizon that stretches as far as the eye can see. It's an idyllic location for capturing stunning photographs. If you're thinking of visiting, be sure to pack some cozy blankets to ward off the occasional gusts of wind that whip through the area.

Nice family friendly beach. The sand is very fine and granular, so wear proper shoes. No washroom near by

Big beach very near to Halifax and Dartmouth. Free ample parking and monitored by life guards. Visited by families and is very shallow with no sudden increase in depth

Nice Beach with soft sand and minimal rocks. Not ideal for swimming with little ones as the waves are huge and the water is very cold. But it's a beautiful spot for a walk.
