The Samurai Japanese Restaurant
Very disappointing, my wife and I had been planning to visit this restaurant for several months, never had a single beer on their menu that I ordered, my wife ordered a glass of red wine which tasted like it had come out of a long opened box of wine, the price was $23 for a 9 oz glass. The food and the chef that served us was good. Would not go here again or recommend this restaurant.

Definitely a unique dining experiance. I would give it a higher rating except that the hostess only offered us 1 round of drinks during the 2 hrs we were there, the chef forgot to serve part of a meal to one person in our party, and he spent quite sometime bashing a past employee of the hotel. Certainly not things I would expect from that calibre of restaurant.

Dined here with my girlfriend the other night while we were staying in a room at the Bessborough. Wait staff were very friendly and entertaining but service was very slow. The sushi and tempura vegetables that I had were excellent but the food that was prepared on the flat top grill at our table was nothing incredible. Just heaps of seafood and vegetables thrown on and a sauce added. However the seafood seemed to be very high quality and tasted very fresh which made up for any lack of seasoning. Also wanted to enjoy a nice romantic dinner alone but the configuration of the restaurant is many seats around a single grill and we were seated with a stranger. Not a huge deal but just something to note.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Obviously, expect to pay a pretty penny for all this, but it was worth it!

We took our staff here and had a great experience! It wasn't expensive and we all had a fun time. Food was delicious and healthy, if it were a bit cheaper I'd come more often. Its right at the tipping point but the atmosphere and chef's definitely explain why. Great place to check out, you won't be disappointed.

My family and I come here all the time when we pass through. Food is handled with care and is cooked right in front of you. Everything thing is fresh and tastes wonderful. Chefs and staff are also very friendly and nice. We're always welcomed when we come there.

The green tea tasted like fungus. The chicken was gelatinous like cheap or frozen breasts full of fillers. The steak and pork were delicious! The veggies seemed a bit weird, I don't know if they are just seasonal or what!The dynamite maki rolls and tuna nigiri were alright.It was a good experience but the cook kind of made some comments I didn't find overly appropriate. We weren't a fun group so I could see he was grasping at straws for entertainment.The staff were great about having a child there and were very accommodating to everyone there.It is slow so plan for a 2 hour outing.

Horrible experience, went there for a birthday celebration and made a reservation for 2 tables. They catered to one table and completely ignored the other table. When asked to speak with a manager the server brushed us off saying that they did not have a manager on staff nor supervisor. Despicable! Then a manager appeared from nowhere. The food was good

Who doesn't like there food cooked right I'm front of them. The kids menu was awesome because it came with fruit! Sushi and Saki was good. I only recommend you make a reservation! Or you might not get a good chef that knows what he/she is doing!
