Great neighbourhood store with awesome baked goods and a small town atmosphere. Best bait in town - they also stock some choice lures for fishing lake trout in Cold Lake.

I went to the store with a guy named Dusty, service wasn’t to my liking and the staff made bleach seem like a refreshing beverage.

The old D&B convenience store has taken a serious turn for the better. The renovated interior is now bright, clean, and open, and features the wares of local artisans in addition to the convenience essentials - plus a soft serve ice cream machine.Emma's Cafe (To Go) is attached to the store, sharing the friendly staff and rustic decor. The indoor seating area is quite small, so bring a couple close friends rather than a large party, or just drop by to take advantage of the To Go option. With a relaxed atmosphere and generously portioned food prepared fresh, Emma's is a new hidden treasure in Cold Lake North. I will definitely be back.

Definitely the best for a soft ice cream. I would like the closing hours to be extended during summer time!
