Piping Plover Nesting Area
This section of the beach was not as busy as the other areas. Parking was easier. The nesting area is clearly marked and easy to avoid.

Kool place to pitch your tent. Have a swim with kids and set up your bbq charcoal or propane. Only pay for parking all day. Park staff are friendly and accomodating. Only con is if the place gets windy

So exciting to see these endangered birds. They are so tiny and so cute!!!Binoculars are a must, as you need to keep a good distance from the birds, so they're not disturbed.

Piping Plover Nesting Area
They have since migrated but it was a rare chance to see an endangered bird. All you really had to do was sit on the park side of beach one and eventually one of the birds would walk by you. It was amazing to see such a tiny bird get such care.

This area was quite lovely. Incredibly sandy, lots of boardwalk, and plenty of potential bird spotting options. The water this year is extremely high so some seating areas are quite close to the water.

Very nice and alot less busy part of the beach, nesting area was marked last time I was there and if your lucky you might see the birds.

Piping Plover Nesting Area
This is actually the Provincial Park Wasaga. It was clean and the beach was great.
