Wartooth Tattoo

This is such a cool place! It's in a nice little area to walk about and the artist are very talented and friendly. I have used this shop a few times and I adore the work of Tara, she is who I normally go to as she does amazing single needle work but everyone else who works there is friendly and comes up with killer pieces for clients. Highly recommend checking it out!

I got a tattoo from Arthur when he was at Imperial tattoo and was impressed by his attention to detail and professionalism. Was happy to hear he was opening his own shop, so I had to check it out. He nailed it again in lightning quick speed with some design fantastic layout suggestions.

Got a sick custom piece done by Lis (@blacksnakeroot). She almost exclusively does amazing black work, but I asked nicely and got this beautiful black+red piece.The place is clean, well lit, nice decorations. The staff all seemed very friendly. They largely focus on black ink tattoos, here.They ask for tips to be in cash, and take cash/e-transfer for tattoos, so know this ahead of time! Otherwise, there's an RBC ATM just a little West of the shop.Will definitely be coming back when I know what tattoo I want next.

Was a pretty decent experience. Dude I got was friendly but kept changing my design despite me telling him exactly how I wanted it. Still did his version anyways. Linework was shaky and uneven in a lot of spots, other spots looked nice. He still was real chill and took his time though which was nice. It's pretty likely I won't come back though. Up to you!

I was tattooed by Arthur a couple years ago and I am so pleased with his work! Unfortunately I caught the other tattoo artists laughing at me in the mirror, I’m not sure if it was due to my tattoo choice or because I don’t handle tattoos well due to anxiety. As a person with extreme anxiety I tend to avoid “hip” shops like this because I find them judgemental and left with that feeling. I’m not from Toronto and was shocked to see I was going to be tattooed in a public room with others watching, so that plus the other artists laughing at me was a terrible experience for my anxiety. It’s not their fault I didn’t realize I was to be tattooed in a public space I realize. It’s so unfortunate as all the artists are so talented, and Arthur was so professional and amazing, I would love to be tattooed by Arthur again but will not be coming back to this shop. The apprentice who welcomed people in at the door was also professional and friendly, but the other artists laughing at me was a terrible experience. It took me a couple years to have the courage to write this review, as I was afraid of being laughed at again……

Horrible experience with owner Arthur- wasn’t listening to me, especially when I said I wanted the women to have robes on.

All of the artist there are amazing artist. Tara is my go to girl. The shop is clean and a very welcoming atmosphere. They will always get a 5 star rating from me every single time.

I got tattooed by Tara, she is a lovely lady who is extremely talented and incredible at what she does. It was very clean, the energy was good in the shop, and i was really happy with my tattoo experience. The only thing I would say, even though this is a small thing, when you get tattooed the artist usually gives you a little card with instructions about how to take care of it so it heals properly. I dont know whether she normally gives them but since Ive been tattooed in the past she decided not to, I still think its important to give a card, no matter how tattooed somebody is. But other than that, I will definitely be coming back!

I recently got two custom pieces done by Luis at Wartooth, and was super happy with my experience. Luis was super great to work with on the design, totally nailed what I had in mind. These were my first tattoos and he made it super non-intimidating and a cool experience. If you wanna get some old school mideival etching tattoos, this dude's your guy. Shop was super clean, everyone there super friendly. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back.
