K DESIGN Custom Cabinets

If my review could deter one individual from using this company then I would consider it a success. Emilio has been a nightmare to deal with from the beginning. Both my contractor and myself are so disappointed and aggravated that he does not return phone calls and has fought us on every charge in the process. This includes his worker making pantry doors the wrong size and still charging us for new ones when we pointed out the mistake. We needed new doors (to replace the incorrect ones) and additional trim so we had no choice but to pay to receive our other products. The final straw was him not covering the costs to repair a door when paint was chipping on it, claiming it was water damaged. As a kitchen cabinet door (that was only a few months old), I expected the door to accept small water splashes and now the replacement will cost almost $200. Terrible, terrible customer service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Used K-Design based on friend’s recommendation. Isabel was our designer and she is very professional and captured our needs very well. Due to COVID it took long for us to get the cabinets. Carlos was our installer and was very meticulous! We are in June now (so more than 6 months) and the kitchen is still not complete! My biggest disappointment is the lack of communication and the service after sale. One advice do not pay in full until the kitchen is complete.

WOW!! Our beautiful cherry kitchen cabinetry from K Design was installed in 1994, and continues to stand the test of time. After 26+ years of family use/abuse, one of our over-stocked pantry shelves broke free. With hardware stores closed during covid lockdown, I called to ask where I might find replacement parts, and they astonishingly replied that they have some in stock, will deliver them, and not charge anything. The parts were personally delivered the very next day, in a snowstorm no less. That is outstanding customer service well beyond my expectations, thank you.

After being provided with a high recommendation to use K Design, my wife and I decided to use Emilio and their team to help us design our custom kitchen. Mike's assistance helped us to understand the hardware and finishes along with the fixtures that would work best with the kitchen we were designing. The installation was flawless and the little touch ups were never an issue for Matt. Great work!

K Designs really did an amazing job with designing and building our kitchen. The thought and detail was more than what I expected. They came recommended by a neighbor who also had their kitchen done with them. I continue to recommend them when people see our kitchen. Thanks again K.

We used K-design for a complete kitchen redesign and installation. After installation, we needed some minor fine tuning and Emilio came to our home personally and handled the customer service requirements instantly and professionally. He agreed that all our requests were reasonable and justified and scheduled for them to be handled a.s.a.p. The individual sent to handle the adjustments was extremely professional adopting an approach of making sure he did it right rather than just getting it done as quickly possible so leaving us with a feeling of comfort. If only all customer service wee handled in this way, life would be a lot easier.

As a designer I have brought numerous clients to K Design over the last 9 years and all of my clients have been very pleased with the service and quality of the cabinets they have chosen.There have been times when the after service people have to go in and do some adjustments but overall, these have been minor things and the staff have been more than helpful in making sure that both the clients and I are happy in the end.You won't go wrong if you work with K Design.

If I could give zero stars I would. You are better off getting IKEA cabinets and having them installed professionally. We had a newly installed (few months old) kitchen cabinet door chip paint and Emilio would not cover the damage claiming it was water damage. I do not agree with him (we have not had any water problems in our kitchen) but if what he is saying is true then the IKEA kitchen in our last home was better quality than this. It is sad that this kitchen cost us thousands (and thousands!) and he would not stand by his warranty for a small door. Furthermore, he said he would replace the door if I would instead give him a positive review online which I now will not be doing. I would rather warn others of the experience we had with this company. Please avoid the headache and use a different cabinet company.

My wife and I worked with Isabel Beattie over the last few years to design our dream kitchen and upstairs bar and Isabel and the entire K Design Team delivered. We give everyone top mark, from Isabel with the design and space usage ideas, to Jim and Carlos installing the cabinetry to Matt Relf managing and executing the entire installation and finishing of our kitchen.
