Dr. Nancy Van Laeken

Visiting Dr Nancy Van Laeken could honestly be one of the best decisions I have ever made. She is truly one of the most gifted, kindest and skilled Doctors I’ve ever met. It had taken me almost 2 years to loose around 180 pounds. With that weight loss I felt I needed to get a tummy tuck to remove excess skin. It was no small surgery. I had spoke with some of her past clients and Nancy came with great personal reviews. I had surgery with Dr.VL over a year ago now, and I’ve never felt or looked better in my life. My new flat stomach has really given me the motivation to maintain my weight loss. With amazing aftercare from the fantastic nurses and office staff. I absolutely feel that Nancy has put together a solid care team. I would absolutely recommend Dr.VL for plastic surgery. Thank You so much.

I was really grateful for Dr. Van Laeken's help in 2005 and that she was part of my health care team. She was kind, caring and respectful. I have asked her to help me again. Wow, someone seems to have it out for Dr. Van Laeken. Some of the one star reviews seem fake and written by the same person? I happened to be looking her up for a friend and thought I would leave a review. Dr. Van Laeken did my mastopexy back in 2009. It's now 2020 and I am still completely thrilled with the results. Dr. Van Laeken was caring, professional, and had excellent bedside manner, as did her staff. Most importantly, she did a phenomenal job on my surgery and I would recommend her to anyone! Absolutely no regrets or complaints whatsoever. This woman does incredible work!

Dr Van Laeken is one of the best and most caring people and surgeons I have had the pleasure of meeting . I have had 3 surgeries with her over the course of 19 years and my experience has been incredible every time pre and post op. Most recently I had a major operation with her that required additional care. She not only made herself available to see me many many times she continued to stress to me that it’s important I feel comfortable and made sure to ease any concerns I had at any time. She called me on her vacation to ease a concern, she truly goes above and beyond. Her bedside manner makes you feel like she is a caring friend. For anyone considering surgery with her know that you will not only be under the care of a talented truly caring surgeon but her entire team mirrors that care as well.

If there was an option for 10 stars, Dr. Van Laeken would get them all! She is the exact surgeon you want working on you - detail oriented, extremely experienced, takes pride in the perfection of her work and is amiable. She’s easy to talk to and understanding of your wants, but she is also convicted in knowing the right way to approach things. I feel so lucky to have had her work on a major surgery for me, and I would 100% recommend her and her team for both medical reconstructive surgery and also cosmetic surgery.

I have had several procedures with Dr Van Laeken, including breast reconstruction. She is the absolute best in her profession. Occasionally her manner is abrupt but her surgical skills are excellent. I am grateful and delighted with the results of my surgeries with her.

Dr Van Laeken is a magician. She is so skilled. I had breast reduction which I was told I’d needed since I was 19. Severe pain from illnesses, car accident, work related injuries. I was uncommonly nervous going in, mostly about general anaesthetic, and previous lung infections. Dr Van Laeken is so kind, patient, skilled. I can’t believe how good I feel one week out of surgery. Only on pain meds for 3 days, very good healing. Literally magic. Her office staff is very kind too, friendly, efficient. I felt very taken care of. I feel so fortunate.

Dr. Nancy Van Laeken is an incredibly skilled and empathetic surgeon. She has been by my side helping me with my breast cancer mastectomies and reconstruction over the past few years. She takes times to listen and empathize with any questions and concerns I have....and has never made me feel I was being unreasonable with anything I needed or asked for. Her compassion is top-class and her skills are unrivalled.Any negative reviews here have not been further from my experience with her or the experience any of my friends/colleagues/patients have had with her. I couldn’t even fathom anything but kindness, compassion and patience from Dr. Van Laeken. It always seems there are a few that need to complain, and those are the ones that feels moved to leave a review. Can’t win them all!Would recommended Nancy 1000%.

Dr. Van Laeken is a talented surgeon and a kind practitioner. She is warm, intuitive and adept at trauma informed care. I cannot thank her enough for her openness and patience. I highly recommend her and her team.
