This guy is beyond amazing! I have an older vacuum that requires repairs about once a year and the fellow who runs this place does whatever he can to keep repair costs down (he even once told me how I could fix it myself, saving me the repair cost). It's rare to find such an honest repairman but I swear by this guy. I recommend him to all my friends too!

Excellent service and product support. I originally went to Best Buy just to find that they did not even stock the Miele models to see live, not to mention have anybody to show you how to manage all three filters it has. It is great that we have David in town to help us.

Great to see that so many reviewers are positive about their experience. I'm not one of those. I went in looking for a belt for a new vacuum - they didn't stock it, which is fine, but offered absolutely nothing about where I might consider getting one. When I asked, he just shrugged and made an inappropriate comment that I won't repeat here. If you need parts for a vacuum, save yourself the trip and use Amazon.

The owner of the shop is truly a good person. We bought our Central Vac system here when we moved into our new home in Aberfoyle. I have had it for 8 years now and had three issues with it. Twice he stayed on the phone with me and walked me through the repair over the phone so that I would not have to pay for someone to come out which would have been a $150 charge each time. He walked me through testing the wires on the back of the unit and replacing a non working cover plate. Finally a warranty issue that he dealt with promptly. I really cannot say enough good things about him.

I called few minutes before closing on Saturday. David waited for me until i got there. Provided me with good advise on how to replace the vacuum cleaner part . Awesome service , great knowledge.Highly recorded!!!

I usually don't like to leave negative reviews, but my experience at this place did not match the current ratings (4.7 stars). Based on my experience, they lack basic customer service skills, the service is very slow (3 to 4 days for an estimate), and I felt unappreciated as if they don't care about their customers.

First time at The Vacuum Store and it was worth the drive. The owner was very nice, honest, quick and helpful in fixing my Nutone central vac. Fantastic service and even better priced service and merchandise....I ended up buying some house/cleaning items much better priced than what you would find at your local store or online.
