Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home - Waterloo Chapel

I do not normally write reviews but felt compelled to share our experiences with this funeral home. I unfortunately had to plan 2 funerals in 2019 and went with Graham A Giddy both times. The level of expertise, empathy, and timely communication is exactly what you need during a difficult time when a loved one passes away. I cannot express enough my gratitude to their funeral director, Patrick, who did everything he could to make planning the funerals as easy as it could be. For example, one of the things we wanted at the funeral was a trumpet player. When I asked another funeral home about it, the response was that they didn't know anyone and we'd have to find someone. Patrick's response was that he might know someone and if he didn't, he'd find someone for us. That is just one example of how Patrick has gone above and beyond. I would absolutely recommend this funeral home and think they're worth every penny. I wrote this review in hopes that it might help someone choose a funeral home during a difficult time.

Excellent people, very caring and knowledgeable. Graham and Patrick made us feel like family during a difficult time. Absolutely NEVER felt pressured. Will deal with again but for obvious reasons, hopefully not for a long, long time....

Graham Giddy provided the very best service and guidance for our family after the death of our mother. Patrick, as our director, ensured that all of Mom’s wishes were honoured.

After using Giddy's for funeral arrangements, our family wholeheartedly agree with the 5-star ratings & positive reviews on Google from what we experienced from this funeral home.Graham, Patrick and staff were compassionate and caring. They treated us like family and friends accommodating to our needs.A spacious facility especially during these times of being aware of social distancing. They did a great job cosmetically, preparing our deceased loved one for viewing at visitation. This was an emotional family event but the services provided by Giddy Funeral Home Waterloo made the whole experience easier. Thank you.

What a wonderful beautiful home and caring staff especially Patrick and Graham to take care of your every need. Losing a son so young is so difficult, but Patrick was so gentle, calm and professional through the whole procedure. We'll never forget his kindness and empathy!
