We visited this casse-croute today for the first time and found it excellent. We had really liked the purple house casse-croute in Val-David for many years but it is now closed, and most of the other restaurants in town don't have the classic casse-croute items and have VERY slow service. The club sandwich, fries, and poutine were all authentic and tasty (lots of cheese curds!), and the food was brought out to us very quickly with friendly service. This will now be our go-to CC near Val-David.

Excellent food. Great service. Good prices. I had a king burger and fries that were excellent and filling, and my wife had a pepperoni pizza she couldn't finish. She says it was the best she ever had. Going back soon to try the breakfasts. We recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Enjoy!

satisfied with their all dressed poutine. mostly, the fries didn’t seem to be too much fried like charcoal u get from other restaurants. and the size vs price made sense

We took a day trip to St David from Montebello. We passed many fast food restaurants but I wanted something authentic (homemade). This was exactly what we’re looking for. The cheeseburgers were delicious and the fries awesome. To top it off my partner had the “sugar shack cream cake” … fabulous. The hosts were friendly and helped us with our order due to our limited French language. A worthily stop and highly recommended.

The food was not great, what we ordered was greasy and tasted okay. We also ordered a pizza and they forgot to give it to us as we were leaving, we called back and they told US we forgot the pizza. Not a great experience.

Amazing poutine! Sauce was excellent, cheese was cheesy and the young kids at the counter were super nice and quick! I would definitely recommend for a pit stop!
