Regional Property Inspections

If I could give more stars I would. Peter Blackwell is the best home inspector in the entire Guelph/Waterloo Region. His inspection helped us to uncover issue with our home that were not just important for resale value but also for our health ( it might have even saved our lives). If you want someone with an eye for detail and who will give you his honest opinion on a home, Peter is your guy.

Peter was PHENOMENAL. Was so knowledgeable and able to explain things perfectly to us (who have SOME idea....but quiet minimal at the same time).He was personable, easy to get along with, and extremely honest.100% will use him again.

I've never bought a house or hired an inspector before, but I'm pretty sure I totally lucked out. Peter is the gold standard of inspectors. He was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and gave very practical advice. He answered all of my questions plus many I didn't even think to ask, and invited me to follow up if I ever had questions about my house in the future. I learned a lot about how my house is built and what to look out for in the next 5, 10, 20 years etc. His inspection report was fantastic. I've referred back to it a few times getting insurance arranged and working with contractors. He even recommended local contractors, which was really helpful since I was new to the area. Thanks again Peter!!

I'm not one to do reviews very often and we have only done a home inspection once before, however, Peter was far and above superior to the other home inspector for our previous house. He was extremely knowledgeable, great at explaining components of the house and excellent to deal with all around. Would highly recommend him again, and would use him again in a heart-beat.

It was my first home so i had no clue about anything.Having Peter inspecting my house made it a very fun experience.he was patient enough to simplify the terms he used when i didn't understand.He was there on time and sent me the report in 2hrs.I do really recommend his service especially when you need an honest and funny guy to direct you.It was a true pleasure working with you PETER

It was an absolute pleasure having Peter do our home inspection. He was punctual and professional, and clearly knows his stuff, but he's also a fun guy to talk to. He joked that he doesn't like writing reports, but the inspection report we received was both very detailed and easy to read with many helpful photographs. I had a house at 7 Elgin st in Princeton Ontario inspected by Peter Blackwell last year and he is by far the smartest person I have ever met, there is nothing that he doesn't know. Unfortunately I didn't end up buying the house cause I wasn't able to get approved for how much they were asking for it, I highly recommend Peter Blackwell for all property inspections over anyone else!

Peter was able to work with us on short notice and was quite thorough in explaining and showing us everything we wanted to know about or had concerns about. Super friendly and professional. Wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again.
