The secretary who answered my call was rude and uninformed. I asked her to look in my file to see if I could come for a mole check. She told me that I needed a referral even though I have seen this doctor many, many times in the last twenty years. She wouldn't even look, she just repeating that I need a referral. Don't go here, try to find someone else. We deserve respect when calling doctors, I am not calling for fun...unacceptable!

Dr. Sonea is the best , he takes his time to explain and answer all the questions, he shares the informations and educate the patient to help understand the diagnosis and deal with the problem and how to take care, he's very nice and empathetic plus he has a nice sense of humour, and his secretary is nice and professional, I consulted the doctor for my baby (Rose) eczema problem, and I would like to thank Dr. Sonea for his great job

I have been a patient of dr Sonia for over 30 years. But lately I called for an appointment and his secretary asked for a referral ??? Don’t understand what about loyalty!! Guess if I ask my gp for a referral I’ll get a new dermatologist also. Weird!!!

I have only good words for Dr Sonea. He's the best, most patient dermatologist I've seen to date. It's true that sometimes the wait can be about an hour, especially in the afternoons, but if you get an appointment early in the morning he's always pretty punctual. He takes the time to examine you, explains everything in detail & suggests solutions. Very thorough

I love Dr. Sonea and his secretary! I have been following up with him throughout 2020, during the pandemic and a health crisis I'm having, and he has been the best doctor. He is very thorough, a great listener, always follows up, and really went above and beyond with making sure that my health is improving. His secretary is also very efficient and is a really nice person.

The receptionist who answered my call (Diana) told me that I must have a referral from my GP, although I am already a patient of Dr Sonea.Dr Sonea had previously told me not to come every year for a check up, but to call when I needed to come in for any reason.It was not my GP that referred me to Dr Sonea in the first place, and I have previously called and made an appointment when needed.And it is very odd that the receptionist had to take my full name, in order to tell me that I would need a referral from my GP. Is this not the process for every patient??I wonder if Dr Sonea knows this is what is happening.
