Such a great experience at Dulux on Kaye St today. I was running late and Jared and Colin were super helpful, friendly and made a custom mix for me within last minutes of their Suday shift. I have been a customer for couple years now and it's always been a very good experience and paints are really good quality! Way to go Dulic Kaye St team!

Great discounts for military and RCMP, always my first chice for paint, but how is it that a store like Dulux (all of them) is closed on Sundays. Does not make sense to me, they must lose so much business because of it. You're literally driving me to HD or Kent.

Was in the store for 20 minutes and no one greeted or acknowledged me. When I finally went up to the counter for help there was no one around. I stood at the counter for a couple minutes before someone came to help. The employee who did help me was great and helpful.

Came here and to my surprise they were having a Buy-One-Get-One-Free! The second can I got just in a base white colour that can be mixed at any other time. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They also carry everything you need to get a paint job done, from tape to rollers and sand blocks. They also give you free paint srixks - which is very handy as I always forget and end up making a mess later. I don't think I'll go anywhere else in Halifax for paint any longer! Also the Universal Grey paint is pure luxury, as sunlight hits it throughout the day it changes in shades, and perfectly complements any other accent colour.

Has regular BOGO sales and discounts with CAA membership if you have your card with you. It can get busy at times but you can place an order and come back. Somewhat knowledgable staff. Fewer specialty products (such as ceramic tile paint). Sells misc other relevant products as you'd expect. Easy parking. Many local professionals use this location. My personal experience is that with the sales it's slightly more cost effective than competitors as long as you know what you want.

Product is fantastic. Been using it for years. Unfortunately service lacks. Waited 45 minutes to purchase 2 quarts of miss tinted paint, meaning no mixing, it was ready to go. While there I saw 5 people come and go after me as the wait time was too long. Service person even stated they were glad they left, less work for themselves. Very poor staff attitude. The business is losing business due to this for sure. Too bad, as years ago it was never like this.

Just did my first curbside pickup at Kaye St. A very smooth process. Emailed my request the evening before. Got a call next morning to check the details. They suggested a better alternative for one paint. Within a couple of hours was advised the order was ready. Hardly any wait when I got to the store. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
