Fantastic experience. The waterfall is beautiful, current not too strong so definitely beginner-friendly. We were a big group (12 people 3 dogs), but James made it all so seamless. Can’t wait to be back!

My boyfriend and I had such a great time at Elora Paddle Company! The person there was super chill and helpful in explaining everything we needed to know since it was our first time. They provided us with PFDs, locked storage space, and optional dry bags (and of course a canoe and paddles). It was a lovely day and the canoeing was a very calm and peaceful experience. The guy was also very supportive and encouraging of our beginner skills. It was also very affordable!

This place was great. The location is super especially for beginners. For the beginners, the pace of the river is comparatively slow and water is not at all deep. A bag for our valuables is provided to keep with us in the canoe/kayak. The bagpack can be kept in the safe near the counter.James who runs this business is really great. His calmness towards our chaos was his confidence, that made me believe that the canoe’s not flipping into the water. Overall great experience.

A beautiful and relaxing day on the river. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Canoes are clean and well maintained. The price is reasonable, $25 for 45 min. Starting and finishing points are at the same place, no need for a shuttle service. The paddling distance is about 1 km, so you have plenty of time enjoying the scenery, waterfall (dam) and swans. Make sure to plan an extra time for finding a parking spot.

Highly recommended. Was the highlight of the day. In reality we only travelled a short stretch of the river but it was a lot of fun. Suitable for beginners including a 6 year old. The canoe is stable and we did not get wet at all. Nice and friendly staff. I think this is better than the tubing (also very good) found in the park.

If in Elora you guys should try this out. Loved it! The kayak and the canoe were quite clean. The service was great and the price was reasonable. The kayak can be used by 2 or 3 people. Cheers!

James has a very user-friendly booking system, making it very easy to see the available times to rent canoes. He has everything you need for a safe and enjoyable canoe experience. He is very knowledgeable about the surrounding area so you can have a little getaway not far from the city. James is an all-around great guy who will make sure you have a wonderful time on the water! Super fun experience. Was greeted by James who got us all setup and we were off on our journey very quickly. Canoes are super clean and well maintained. The paddling area was about 1 km and the water was very calm. Lots of ducks and swans and the waterfall section was very cool. Sessions are 45 minutes but we did the circuit in about 30. James also gave us some tips on areas to check out in Elora...it's a really nice town!
