Upon entering the restaurant were greeted and felt extremely welcomed. Being our first time at Balkin Eats Dijana took the time to explain the different items on the menu and offered recommendations for us to try. We had three different types of pita with yogurt, cevapa and krempita for dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the conversations that took place while we were there. We would strongly recommend trying this new restaurant in Woodstock. They also offer a selection of groceries and prepared items for take home.We personally would like to thank Dijana, her husband and staff for an enjoyable lunch. We will see you soon.Deb & Dave

Feels like home! Very happy I tried this restaurant out. Worth the drive from Guelph. Great variety of food/drinks and great flavour. Friendly service too :) Will come back in the future

Amazing destination with lots of different hard to find European items as well as fresh baked goodies and extremely hospitable owners!If you don't know how to order they will walk you through it. Must try!

I went here and it was so good. We had to eat the food the next day because if things but was still very great. 10,10 recommend. Everyone should definitely go here.

Guys. This place is fantastic. The BEST meat i have ever tried. So fresh and high quality. The deserts are better than any i have ever tried in any other restaurant. truly made with love. The staff are so genuine and the customer service is the BEST.

Went there for lunch today and left extremely happy and full! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. The apple dessert was outstanding! The staff were so extremely friendly. Glad to have a new place to eat in the city!

So happy to have a place like this in Woodstock now! I really missed Balkan food since moving here. The owners are the sweetest and their passion for what they do really shows through their food. They also have an awesome variety of groceries! Can’t wait to come back again and again.
