Dogwood Nursery & Landscaping

i love this place! we’ve bought our christmas tree here every year at their annual christmas market and we love that they are a local business that makes a point of supporting other small businesses. the staff has never been anything but kind and helpful, including finding the perfect trellis for a new houseplant recently!

We went there twice, the first time we were able to get one of the ladies to help us reluctantly, but when paying and loading the plants the cashier was so nice, so was the Mexican who carried the load to the car.The second time yesterday, day and night, the lady couldn't be bothered, rude and the looks she gave us were enough to drop everything and leave, no wonder this place is so empty, way too expensive too, we will never return.

I Went to Dogwood this weekend to simply get a few yards of soil for our yard that we seeded. The first load (1 yard) we brought home had broken glass in it. The second yard we brought home was full of rocks, twigs and some mulch. Not happy. We called to inform them and they did not believe us. Top soil is to be screened. They did offer us a half yard but I said this was not acceptable and I would expect full credit (I was talking to one of the owners) he said no, that won’t happen. I replied that I will no longer use Dogwood and his reply was that that was fine and hung up. Nice place. I will stick with Bylands from now on. You can see by the photos that this is not screened, let alone that we found glass in the first load. Thanks Dogwood, very professional.

Came down here from Kamloops because my parents have bought multiple trees from them and they've all done well. Was surprised at how much variety they had. Brent helped me find all the trees and shrubs I was looking for and was fantastic! Great nursery, going to definitely tell people about it and would definitely recommend it!

Favourite garden centre in West Kelowna. Decent prices, lots of plants and garden supplies, open year around, great staff, beautiful selection, all the things!

We went for advice on a type of hedge. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Called to get information on trees 3 seperate days and no one called me back. Decided to drive an hour and visit the nursary to get help and was told someone would be able to shortly. Waited 30 minutes and went back inside to ask again and their checkout lady rudely said everyone is busy and suggested coming back another day. After explaining the time I have spent already, she reluctantly called someone. After waiting another 20 minutes, I called Bylands, they answered my question and confirmed they had the trees and planters I was looking for. Drove over and they gladly helped me, loaded up the trailer and took my $7000 and I was on my way. Gave Dogwood multiple chances as they are not the big guys" and wanted to support them. Unfortunate but won't be returning because they can't figure out basic customer service."

Bought a yard of premium garden soil.Brought it home and loading into raised garden beds only to find that it was full of rocks, sandy, terrible quality.Phoned twice and sent an email with no response at all.Had to spend time screening and then adding compost and fertilizer to even try to make it useable.
