Rock Glen Falls

Besides Niagara Falls this is the other waterfAlls that I have seen yet in Ontario. It was calming to sit around listening to its relaxing sound and the fresh water was refreshing. It is a scenic and educational spot. While we were there, few people can to find fossils and they did find some. It was cool. I would go again.

It was my first time hiking the Glen Falls. Super fun trails and amazing views. This is a good place to bring the family for a day out.

It’s a small, beautiful waterfall. Worth a visit. Has trails. Probably better to go in the morning. Place could get busier later in the day.

Nice place for walking and relax. Has tables and place for bbq. Price was 4cad$ per person. Has parking inside. Recommend this place for relax after city.

(Go After a Heavy Rain) The most beautiful thing I’ve seen in all my life, I’ve been to Niagara Falls several times but that doesn’t compare to this waterfall it’s more personal you can walk behind it you can swim at the bottom.Niagara Falls is just a cluster of tourists, My wife and I sat at the waterfall base for five hours before we left, there was no one there and it had a very good rain the day before, so we were treated to beautiful sites.My wife and I climbed over the fence because we thought it was closed for the season but later on a very nice man named Mike whose job it is to protect that area for dangerous reasons, he explained that it wasn’t due to the seasonal conditions he just needs to be there to open it up so that if anything happens he’s there to help and when he leaves the gate gets closed but you can still watch from the balcony. Thanks again Mike for explaining how things work there we had a great time and will be backDON’T FORGET IT’S $4.50 per person not vehicle, and if you forget you are going to have to drive 17 km back to the nearest ATM machine lol

Its less than an hour drive from the city.Good for people who loves digging fossils.Water looks like from a creek.

Gorgeous view of the gorge & waterfall! Great area to take children to explore! Wear good shoes! Lots of trails & so many stairs! Great way to take in the scenery & get some exercise!!

Beautiful hands-on experience with a small waterfall, perfect for young children. There are many stairs, so this is not stroller friendly. I wore my baby carrier and I was really glad to have that for my 1 year old. Water shoes were very helpful in the slippery must rocks at the falls. There are lots of picnic tables and garbages on site away from the falls for having meals.

The Rock Glen Falls has definitely changed since I was there last. Please don't go expecting a huge, vibrant waterfall this Fall 2022. The crowds have died down which is nice, though the water supply seems to have also died off too. It is still special to go to the foot of the falls, you just won't experience the rush as once enjoyed. Suggestion is to walk along the trail up top and descend the staircases, down to the bottom and vere right. This is where you will find the river, which is still running through the area. It is a steep climb down the stairs and back up the stairs on the other side. Please don't attempt if you are less than fully mobile. It was quiet, peaceful and calming. The scene has changed, but the relaxing nature of this locale remains!
