BCIT Student Association Daycare

I wonder whether I need to leave a review. This is an excellent daycare - ample space, caring teachers, very low employee turnover and very reasonable fees. On top of this, hot lunch made by restaurant on campus are included in the fees! On the other hand, their wait list is so long that I don't even think they need my recommendation. (BCIT students and staff receive enrollment priorities.)

I haven’t used the daycare but this review is regarding about the advocates of the student association.Previously, I was in touch with an advocate named Gillian, she was helpful but she already quit.I made an appointment with Gurleen online, but different advocates named Fara phobed me. She said because I left a message with Gillian, and Fara said she had canceled today’s appointment with Gurleen.Fara rushed me and was irritated. I just told her I will think about working with her.I made a new appointment with Gurleen the next day, but she skipped her appointment and didn’t respond to my email. I had to make another appointment with her the next day.Gurleen finally contacted me, however, she didn't even try to apologize. On the contrary, she was angry from the beginning and accused me of being judgmental. Gurleen asked me why I didn't want to work with Fara, so I told her that Fara rushed me and she was not very supportive. This is my honest feedback so Gurleen should not judge me and call my name.I don’t understand what is the matter with her if I try different advocates to see if we have a good fit.Unfortunately, these two Advocates were not helpful at all.I hope they have kind and supportive advocates in the future.

This place is an amazing space that provides support for parents studying at BCIT. The space is great full of activities and learning to our little ones and the environment is lovely. The staff is wonderful and gave great support for me and my daughter that wasn't able to speak English yet. The wait list is long because of the high quality and fair price.
