Very traditional spot. Just fries and pop. Salt and vinegar is a must. Bring your own ketchup if you want some because they don’t have any. They keep it simple and it works great. Love the fries!

The service, people, and food is amazing. They recently had a small fire, but rose from it tenfold. Super happy they're by the downtown bus terminal as well, they're usually busy with traveller's. As someone who recently moved to Brantford I can say this place is a staple to the city and Stan's Fries has my recommendation hands down!

Heard nothing but amazing things about Stan's. Went there early March 2023. Immediately could smell and tell the oil was old. Fries had a distinct coating and taste of old oil being used. The fries were oil soaked and it was the first time I've ever thrown out fries in my life .... ever.I will chalk this up to a one-off and try them again for sure, since everyone always says how great they are.

Salt and vinegar fries, cans of pop. Fresh-cut fries hot out of the deep frier really can't be beat. No ketchup available; make sure to agree to the vinegar and salt. Delicious! A constant stream of customers to this Brantford institution on a mid-Monday were a confirmation of the excellence of these fries.

My mom took me here as a kid and still today, they’re just as incredible. I don’t live in Brantford but anytime I find myself here, I can’t resist the salty & vinegary goodness. I always ask for extra salt and vinegar. If it’s not swimming, it’s not winning.This spot is cash only and they don’t accept large bills (50s, 100s).

Lately service has been slow, they have been skimping on salt and vinegar, when asking for a little bit more - normally your fries are not salty or remotely acidic at all and we have to ask multiple times for 3 people.The employees seem miserable and never smile - not do they seem happy to have customers. Shape up.

A must when in Brantford. Located in the center of the parking lot. Enjoyed the large salt & vinegar chips. Ketchup not available. Open all year round.

Fries were cooked and pre packaged (unsure how long they had been sitting there before we placed the order.Tasted terrible, were soggy and lukewarm!Had I not drove away I would have requested a return.Ensure your fries are cooked while you wait!
