I am an orthodontic colleague of Dr. Hussam Alfakir. I have known Sam for many years and am writing this review to express my highest recommendation for his orthodontics services. Sam is the most kind, talented, and skilled orthodontist you can find. He is dedicated to his patients, has integrity and ethics and takes time and focus for all his patients. You will not find a finer orthodontist and more giving and generous person.

I am so pleased with our experience at this office. My son was in treatment for 3 years and the results are beautiful. Lucy the receptionist made the entire process an absolute pleasure from beginning to end; I have never met a receptionist with such a warm, kind and caring manner. Dr. Boersma did a very professional job and and she was very caring as well. I will be returning to this office to have my daughter’s braces done and it will be the only orthodontics office that I recommend to family and friends.

My smile has gotten so much better and I am now confident to show it off! The journey was definitely worth it :D

Redhill Orthodontics was an excellent experience for my Son who looks amazing after 1 1/2 years and for myself as a Parent. They were always available when we needed them. The Staff and especially Virginia were amazing to deal with. We highly recommend Redhill Orthodontics in Oakville.

We are patients of the Stoney Creek office, and had a piece of my son’s expander break off, and there was no doctor in Hamilton that day. The Oakville office was able to squeeze us in last minute for the emergency, and the staff was all so amazing and friendly. Thank you for everything!!

Where to begin, The worst dental experience in my life with this clinic and doctor Sam AlFakir.I'm a returning patient with doctor Sam AlFakir, I had gone through orthodontic treatment with him a few years ago and to my surprise found out years later that there was malpractice. My plan was to open spaces between teeth for implants, found out a year later after taking my braces off and planning to add implants that there is and always has been a root that made it impossible to add an implant to begin with, and that my orthodontist did not do the necessary x-rays prior to deciding to remove my braces.X-rays were never done, never initiated by doctor Sam, I was never told anything about this after paying 6000 DOLLARS to him and his practice.In September 2022 I requested for him to continue my treatment and align my teeth together and correct the mistake he overlooked. I ended up waiting 5 MONTHS for an appointment, did a 300 dollar scan, took a day off work to attend the appointment I finally booked in January, his office calls me an hour before the appointment telling me he is refusing to treat me as he spoke to the oral surgeon I did the scan with just yesterday and doesn't want to take liability for my teeth because of my root and to find another practice. I later called the oral surgeon and found out the communication between him and doctor Sam was last month (December) not yesterday as they claimed. The receptionist refused to let me speak to doctor Sam for clarification, very rude, unprofessional, apathetic and belittling to my situation.It's shameful and outrages that people like this are still in business, lack of ownership, responsibility, transparency, respect, it has been a real life nightmare with doctor Sam Alfakir and his practice(s) I have wasted so much time and money and have been left to figure it out on my own.These people have caused me immense emotional distress, beyond my ability to put into words. my experience with these people has been DEVASTATING. Please seek treatment elsewhere, I do not recommend Doctor Sam AlFakir nor this practice.To edit as a response to Dr Kevin's response: What a soul-less and mechanical response. I did my treatment with Doctor Sam Alfakir, an active and one of the main orthodontists at your practice that you are promoting. He was treating me, he was guiding, he is RESPONSIBLE. NOT THE OTHER OFFICE. He made the decisions. Having an orthodontist that does not provide the service their patients paid for, through money, time, and TRUST. is not professional nor honest to the information you provide on your website. Lacking responsibility to one patient is lacking responsibility to all patients. Doctor Sam Al Fakir works in your office, and he is responsible for taking years off of my life because of these braces. That is your responsibility as an owner. this is a fact. it's my nightmare story today and another patient that is treated by him tomorrow. UNDER YOUR PRACTICE. take responsibility and be a human. Your clinic does not respect people not their time.5 months of my life wasted on your clinic, that's half a year, not because of anyone else besides YOUR clinic. You're insufferable

We had a wonderful experience with Red Hill Orthodontics (formerly known as Oak Hill Orthodontics). So glad we chose them! Lucy is so kind and friendly and always very helpful! Dr. Boersma and Dr. Sam were terrific and very professional. I highly recommend them to my friends and family. My son now has a perfect smile and his brother will soon too!
