Often drive by here and it's usually closed, finally came across it at a good time and was able to meet the owner who was super friendly. Hooked me and a friend up and tried 3 of their famous Donair subs, it was great! Definitely will be coming back. Keep in mind they're open 10-3 mon-fri. Give it a shot!!

This place is spectacular! Super friendly staff, awesome atmosphere. Donair sub was perfect, and the bun was OUTSTANDING. Hours are a little tricky to line up with, but if you’re in the area and they’re open, I’d highly recommend stopping in.

Food is always 10/10. Staff is always friendly. Having ordered the donair sub ever single time I can confidently say you won’t find better in the city.

This family owned business has blown my mind. I ordered their catering subs for a get together with friends and man! Was everyone impressed with the quality and taste of these subs. These were great size subs to feed a party of 12 (alongside with other food of course) and helds its freshness for a long time. I would highly recommend this place if you are ordering for a small business sized party or more as they can cater quite a few of these platters daily. Thank you guys so much for catering to my party :)

I have wanted to try this place for awhile but I usually am only in the area on the weekend when they are closed. Today I was finally able to pop in and order a sub... I didn't know that the Donair Sub was their specialty until after I had ordered a salami but they made me up a mini one to try - on the house - which was incredibly nice of them to do. Both were delicious but I admit the Donair sub was my fave of the two. This is a no-frills sub shop - no fancy toppings, just the classics, but done very very well! Far better than any of the chains, and the customer service is outstanding. Will definitely recommend to friends and will visit again. :)

My first time at Subs n Such today on a strong recommendation from a friend in the office. The owners are there running the place and they really care. Their specialty is the Donair sub so I had to try it! A little sweet sauce and some hot sauce. It was absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to try this place again. I’ll try the turkey or club next time.

Fantastic local Sub shop I had the pleasure of trying out. I'm quite partial to subs and sandwiches for lunch and very partial to donairs, so this place was the right stop for lunch. I ordered a classic assorted sub and the famous donair sub, I couldn't not try it being a bit of a donair enthusiast and from Edmonton (unofficial donair capital of Canada per capita) I did feel it was nesessary for me to check it out. So first off, this place is not an actual donair shop with the meat on a vertical rotisserie and really can't be compared to legit donairs, however the donair sub I tried was really good and I would totally order it again. The meat looked and tasted like actual donair meat. Not like the thin weird bolony looking strips that other places pass off as donairs. The only improvement I could recommend would be to pan fry the meat to crisp it up a bit instead of using the microwave. The buns were delicious and soft, topped with fresh tomatoes, onions and finely shredded lettuce which I love but rarely find. Plus the paper bags they use are pretty unique and eye catching. Service was prompt and extremely friendly, it really felt like my business was appreciated! I wish there were more locally owned shops of this calibre in Edmonton. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone and plan to eat here again next time I'm back in Calgary.

Hands down best subs in calgary. The donair is unreal. Great owners. Super friendly atmosphere. These mom and pop shops are too few and far between. Do yourself a favor and plow back 12 inches of pure glory. You won't be disappointed.
