Mickey McGuire's Cheese
Always worth going here for cheese. They have an excellent and nuanced selection along with very knowledgeable staff. We were looking for a cheese to pair with gin and tonics (not a common pairing) and they came out with two suggestions both of which were sublime. They have fantastic cheeses, and generous with samples and also have a great selection of other items to pair with your cheese. I can not recommend Mickry McGuires enough. We live in Hamilton and it's well worth the drive in to get some truly unique and delicious cheeses.

We look forward to going to Mickey's each week to stock up on their delicious cheeses such as Five Brothers - Abbot's Gold or just about any cheese they carry Patty and Lauren are generous with their samples and knowledge about the cheeses they bring in. They also carry amazing breads croissants bagels and other pastries that we treat ourselves to weekly. A wonderful ambiance created by quality foods and attentive serviceI really can't praise them enough and suffice it to say I would be devastated if they disappeared for some reason

My first time at Mickey McGuire's Cheese shop today and I'm beyond impressed! I bought some English Cheddar cheese, flower pedal Goat Cheese, Crackers, Wine Jam, Olives and bread.My husband and I had a Cheese board when I arrived home and we absolutely are in love with the delicious tastes!The lady in the shop was so helpful!

Excellent selection of cheeses and great service. Mickey sure knows his products. A wealth of information on all his products. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is due to their customers. They just take so long to make decisions on what to buy leaving line ups out the door. I must have picked a bad time to go there.

Such friendly people who work here! They were so kind to my dad and I as to trying different cheeses and what he recommended. Great prices, and awesome cheese curds for a great price too! Definitely will be coming back out here, even being over an hour away from them.

Mickey McGuire's Cheese
There is no better cheese-shop in the Hamilton area (or in my opinion in Southern Ontario) than this place. So a few years ago I decided to make her an advent calendar with cheese for my mom. I spent about an hour in the shop, they were super kind about cutting 25 bite-size pieces of various cheeses so that I can fit them into a box. My mom still talks about this to date. I felt awful taking so much of their time cutting and weighing each cheese. But they were all so wonderful. We still go there when we are in the area to buy our favourites, try new ones, and of course take home fresh cheese curds. Amazing place!
