Genesis Yorkdale

This is my second Genesis vehicle that I leased from Genesis Yorkdale. I am extremely pleased with the excellent service that I received. Benny, Kenneth and Leo are very professional. The Genesis vehicles are superior to some other high end brands and offer incredible value for the money.Overall, I highly recommend buying a Genesis from Genesis Yorkdale.You will NOT be disappointed.

100% recommend. Putting aside that the vehicle is amazing - Brian's knowledge, attention to detail, and service was stellar. My schedule in unpredictable at the best of times - Brian was flexible and able to meet my at my house. Walked me through the features and we hit the road. Afterwards, I was expecting a hard sell - that never came. It was strictly focused on my experience and the vehicle. Once I determined it was the car for me, the next steps were a breeze. Start to finish, I was in my new car within a week. If you're on the fence, just book a test drive. The vehicle sells its self and the service shows you why you should buy from them

I bought my Genesis from other dealership and this is my first time coming to Genesis Yorkdale for a service appointment. The front desk Jen and Rovena provided the best service I have ever had at a dealership. I got a loaner right away without even asking while I have to book at least 1 month in advance at other dealerships. The technician Fred was professional and efficient. A wonderful service appointment experience. I strongly recommend this dealership. Looking forward to see their new location on my next visit!

My previous experience with Streetsville Hyundai was great - no BS and prompt follow-ups the few times they were needed. My experience with Yorkdale Genesis has been another story. It's apparent this place doesn't recognize when they're creating a nightmare customer experience. I grinned-and-beared it when a week after the sale I was told key features were being rolled back on the 2023 model I was getting, without any discount. Car delivery was fine and, as is understandable, some of the accessories I bought were on backorder. But after 4 months, no updates and unanswered texts to my salesperson, the only way I could get any response was by contacting the ownership manager. While she has been great (Rovena) hijinks have ensued, resulting in way too many phone calls and follow-ups needed by me to get things done. The winter tires I received were not balanced (costing me $$$ at another mechanic when they were installed); crossrails that were supposed to be ordered by the salesperson never were, causing weeks of delays and when they got around to installing them they didn't take the time to make sure they were even parallel. To top it off, a service rep demanded my wife pay a fee for that poor installation even though 1) it was supposed to be part of the original delivery and 2) Rovena previously confirmed with me there would be no additional installation fee. I was told the sales manager would be following-up with me to address the fumbles but, honestly as expected, two weeks later that still hasn't happened. Really disappointing given my first experience with the Hyundai family was such a positive one.

I popped into the dealership with no booking to have a look around. I was greeted by Kenneth who was the GM, and was Introduced to Akhtar who took the time to show me the G70 and answer any questions. Felt no pressure at all to make a purchase. We did end up purchasing a G70. Akhtar was alwsys available to answer any questions, and was very pleasant and professional to deal with. We alos received a fair price for our trade in.Our vehicle was delivered to us in clean, and free of any issues. We loved the way the vehicle was delivered.I received a call the same day from Rovena who arranges the service appointments to walk me through the service process. I even received a call from the owner of the location to ensure I had or questions!From start to finish this was an amazing experience. From an experiential standpoint, this was not pleasant at all. I wanted to take my wife to go check out a Genesis dealership and this was the closest one that Google directed me to. However, upon arrival, what we saw was a very cramped and busy combination of service desk and dealership for Hyundai . Even this would still have been more acceptable if there were actually some Genesis vehicles inside the dealership, to which we were told that if we wanted to see and browse the vehicles they are all sitting outside in the parking lot. I have been to several Genesis dealerships and this is by far the worst way to present the Genesis brand. We left after about 10 minutes - And if you look at all my other reviews, you will see that I am a very reasonable person who usually give very generous scores because I understand how hard it is to run a business.In my humble opinion this should not be labeled as a Genesis dealership on Google at all. Or at least not at this point. I am not even expecting a separate showroom for the Genesis cars the way other dealerships like Don Valley North does, but at the very least you should really have some Genesis vehicles inside the showroom itself if you are going to call yourself a dealership of said brand. While I'm sure the purchase process is nice and smooth the way many other people described it, the presentation, 1st impression, and everything that has to do with the Genesis image is severely lacking in this location.

I had a great experience here trading in and getting a new car with Akhtar. He really made a big effort to deliver the car and was always available whenever I have any questions/concerns on the car. I highly recommend him!

You do not want to miss this one.I picked up car on a Friday, G70 2023.First of all Leo Cui, gave me the best car sales experience I have ever had since last 7 years of owning vehicles. From time to ordering the vehicle to the pick up, he was always there for me on text, calls and emails giving me up the updates on my order.After picking up vehicle on Friday, very next day on Saturday a nail entered my car tire and pressure started to go down, i noticed on a sunday and right away i texted Leo Cui and he connected me to Rovena from service. This is all on a weekend on a sunday.Rovena immediately gave me on appointment for very next day. Monday I showed up at 9am, i was out of the dealership at 9.30am, made it to work on time and they fixed my tire without any charges. This is beyond 5 star service. Thank you Team Genesis Yorkdale for this experience.
