I acquired a Tascam Portastudio 424 that didn't power up. I decided to take it to Electronic Innovations due to reviews and the fact that they very specifically deals in audio. I'm very glad I did.One of the first things Chris did was pull up this 4 track on Ebay to give me an idea of what people were paying for them. He didn't want me to spend my money on something that might be cheaper to replace than fix. This left a very good impression on me.For a more than fair price, he fixed the problems with the power as well as a number of other issues. On top of demonstrating that everything works he taught me how to properly clean the heads, pinch roller, etc. The Tascam now works wonderfully.Christ is friendly, honest, and knows what he is doing. I'm glad to have found him and will be taking all of my repair needs to him.
