A Plus Home Inspection

I am truly grateful that we came across Adam for our home inspection. We could have gotten anybody by just googling around! I think about that a lot. But we got Adam, and I could not be more pleased with how he handled our inspection.Adam was EXTREMELY thorough and helpful. He talked us, in detail, through absolutely everything we looked at, and as first-time homebuyers who basically knew nothing, this service could not have been more valuable to us. He was honest; he told us what was easy to fix, and what might be a little more work. He told us what was vitally important to take care of immediately, and what wasn't so urgent. He put us at ease and set us up to be homeowners. Honestly, in all the new people and parties I met and did business with in the home-buying process, Adam was the best and he did the most for us.I would recommend that everyone use Adam for their home inspections, and especially if you feel you're a bit uneducated on home ownership and repair. He's detailed and helpful, not to mention nice and a pleasure to talk to.Finally, his inspection report is fantastic. It is fully detailed and well-organized and includes pictures and diagrams, so anything you went over on site with him you will see represented there. The home inspection took about 3 hours for a 1200-sq-foot home with a similarly-sized basement, crawl space attic access, a detached 1 car garage, and a shed. The report came via email in a PDF the next day.Overall, I give Adam an A+.

Adam is the person you absolutely want to go with for your home inspection if you can. I did lots of research and heard about him through a few different avenues and decided he was the one to go with for our home. He is very knowledgeable, has the right tools and experience for the job, and his overall demeanor is amazing. He spent probably a couple of hours in total talking with us and reviewing details about our potential home before he even set foot on the property. Once there, he showed me and my wife every little detail about our home, explaining things as he went, telling us what needs repair and how soon, as well as explaining how we could go about doing different things ourselves instead of hiring professionals to save money. He also spent more than an hour over what was planned for the inspection because this house had so many surprise nooks and crannies and he wanted to make sure he got everything properly inspected without rushing. The report we received afterwards was amazing, with all the details he had talked about during the inspection, as well as pictures and even general information on maintaining a property. We were able to get a reduced price on the home because of his detailed report and now we can treat our inspection report as a “to-do-list” as we move into our new home.Go with Adam at A Plus Home Inspections; you will not regret it.

From start to finish (and beyond!), Adam was nothing but professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and informative. On recommendation from several family members, I included Adam on my initial set of phone calls to several home inspectors in the Amherst area. Of all the inspectors I spoke to, Adam asked the most questions, gave the most detailed answers, and to me it was clear that he would be the best person for the job.On the day of our inspection, my expectations proved true. Adam walked through everything with us, pointing out things that we would need to keep an eye on, things that would need to be addressed more immediately, and in one particular case, told us how we should handle one particular home aspect that we couldn't inspect until certain repairs were made first. Adam addressed every question that we had, including very thorough responses when it was warranted. He even went well above and beyond the call of duty and took a pit-stop a few houses away where my sister-in-law lives to give a quick look at a water spot that appeared in one of her bedrooms!Lastly, even though the inspection wasn't completed until early evening on a Friday night, we received the 47 page (!!!) inspection report about 24 hours later. 47 pages may seem intimidating, but Adam included photos with annotations and short summaries of all the major highlights, which was incredibly helpful. Adam was more than happy to discuss any questions that arose from the report, although in our case there wasn't a need, as everything he wrote was quite straightforward.I cannot recommend Adam enough for your home inspection needs! It's a very big investment, and you want to ensure that you are fully prepared before signing off, and I promise that Adam will arm you with the information you need to make a truly informed decision.

Do yourself a favor and call Adam if you are in need of an inspection. I truly believe he’s the best in the business. I’ve used A Plus, not once but three times, and every time he knocks it out of the park! Adam is very knowledgeable and exceedingly thorough. He talks you through everything that he is seeing, the good and bad, so there are no surprises when the report comes. Adam works for you, and will make sure you get all of the information that you need to make an informed decision. I can’t recommend and thank Adam enough! Trust me, he’s your guy!!

Make your life easy and just pick Adam. He is very knowledgeable and thorough with fair pricing. 3 hours with Adam was like a graduate course on home inspection and maintenance, which as a first time home buyer, can’t be overstated

Hired Adam to complete a home inspection for an existing home we were purchasing. Spoke to three other home inspectors, all with excellent reviews, prior to my conversation with Adam. I asked the same questions to all the inspectors, some had better answers than others, but after 45 minutes on the phone with Adam I knew I found my inspector. He was very accommodating and was able to set up the inspection for the next day.What I liked most about Adam was his crazy attention to detail as well as his method of explanation. He treated our home inspection as if he were inspecting the home he was going to purchase, which I truly appreciated. His report was ultra detailed and is something I will certainly keep and refer to for future projects and maintenance.I could keep rambling on, but I think you get the picture. You can certainly call around as I did, or save yourself the time and call Adam first. You will get your money’s worth and piece of mind, as there is no stone that is left unturned!

Extremely knowledgeable pays attention to every single detail. Writes an incredible report. EDIT: 2 days after purchasing my home I had a massive roof leak requiring me to gut the entire kitchen due to the extensive water damage. The roof will cost me 18k due to it being so bad that it needs a complete tear off and replacement. Adam unfortunately missed this.

If you ever need a home inspector, look no further, especially if you are first-time home buyers!We were lucky to get Adam's contact from one of my colleagues, who spoke very high of him. But Adam still far exceeded our expectations! He was very accommodating to our inspection schedule despite a short notice, but what impressed me most was his professionalism and quality of service. Adam spent hours on the home, from outside to the inside. He really took care of the buyers, like it was his money to be spent on the home (and it won't surprise me if real estate agents don't like him). Adam reasons like a detective, he did not miss any details and communicated with great clarity. He also gave us lots of tips on how to fix things without costing an arm and leg. His report was over 50 pages, with pictures, annotations and suggestions on near/long term maintenance issues, which he delivered within 24 hours after the inspection! Considering what he had put into the inspection and report, and useful advice on how to take care of the property, we truly felt his service worth much more than his fee. I will for sure recommend him to all my friends who are buying a home and won't hesitate to go to Adam again for future home purchasing.
